Hell yeah, I also found a praying mantis on one of my plants. I had these small black and white beetle looking bugs on my plants, that were eating my leaves I think, and I had gone out the next day to find the mantis eating it!!

Yeah, I don't think it really needed any salt.....but I did like the 'Pappy's' on the inside, I thought it gave the meat a tasty flavor, but not too strong.
I'm gonna have a rack inside next time for roasting corn & potatoes, it should work pretty well....
Pig roasts are fun.....I hope you guy's will be there to help cook the next one...

The hard part is loading & unloading all the cinder blocks. I shanghi'ed the neighbor kid that mows my lawn into helping me last year....I should buy a small trailer for it, easier to load & unload....I'll start watching craigslist

I have to admit that for a pile of bricks & some rebar, that little pig roaster does a pretty fair job. It really wasn't built to be portable....My boss bought a cabin just below lake Tahoe & at the house warming party we talked about how neat it would be to do a pig roast. So I got everything together, built the racks & gave it to him as a house warming gift. He roasted a pig at least twice a year for the 12 years he had the cabin. I went & picked it up when he sold the cabin a couple years ago, it's been sitting beside my driveway ever since.....Yeah, my boss & I were tight.

Were infested here with them little basterds,I use to hunt them from a old XR 75 M/C.
That was a lot of fun,chasing them on that bike.30-40 in a pack.The best eaters were the little
75-100lbers,Some were close to 300lbs,and taste wild,real gameeee .
