ok i have hit my first problem i do not know if it can be overcome as of yet but here is the problem the sprayers are not spraying at the baskets this i am hoping is due to the pump not having enough pressure. can anyone tell me if this is the problem? or do i just need a difrent sprayer?
i am making another unit with internal pipe and the sprayers pointing up.i think this may work better

hey buzz, i just realized u made it.. sorry about not reading b4 posting.. its an awesome system and im sure u will get thru the tweeks and turns well enough.. if you wouldnt mind, and it may be a tall order would u mind posting a list of materials, and how u did a certain few things (holes in the square pvc so perfectly etc...

your very good at that and u could even patent it.... i am bery impressed..

Hey What's Up???,,,,,,,,,Sorry To Hear You Are Having Trouble Already, But This Is The Time To Work Thing's Out.

Couldn't Find Any Spec's Of What You Are Running For A Pump????,,,,,,,,It's Going To Need To Be Atleast a 1000gph At A 20+ PSI, To Get A Good Mist, You have A Good Design, Just Need's Some Tweek'n, On Your Next One, You Might go With 1/2" PVC, Might Get A Better PSI.

My Pump's Are 1200gph Or Bigger, & I Get A Great Mist Nut Oxygen Mixture.

Hope You Get Thing's Sorted Out, You Have A Great Start.:blsmoke::peace:

ok i used the same pump i used in my home made cloner. so i guess it is weaksauce. it is a little aquarium pump 300 gph i think so i think that is the issue.

Your system is like my systems. I run my sprayers inside on just one pipe. I can build a whole system in less than an hour for $80.

Use a 400 GPH pump. I just replaced a 1000 GPH pump with a 400 because the water temps where getting so hot. The 400 keeps things nice and cool. I see no difference in performance between the two.

Use a cycle timer set to 1 minute on and 5 minutes off.

Check out my journal form specific info on my grow.

I have a three system perpetual harvest. I average 12-16 oz. per harvest, every three weeks. 14 plant sites per system.

Setup looks really nice.
Stinkbud knows what he's doing he can run like 2900 ppm all the way through flower. The 1on 5off cycle helps keep the roots healthy.

Hey stinky, which system of yours do you like better or get the most performance overall, the pvc pipes or the fence posts? And on the fence posts one, are the misters that are attached to the one pipe at each plant site or spaced in between?

you obviously have your shit dialed in so let me ask ya a few questions?
how many net pots at what distance?
what size post?
how long is the post? how many sprayers?
and what type?
and lastly what pump are you using and now many sprayers
oh and one more thing what size pvc?
are you plugging the sprayers directly into the pvc?
i dont know what size hole to drill?

The fence post design works best because it never leaks. I'm getting rid of the hose system after I finish these next couple of batches. I've had too many floods with those fucking hoses! I'm sick of those little bitches. Last leak took 12 towels to clean up! I'm going to replace the hose system with another PVC fence post system.

7-2" net pots at 7.5 inches apart
6 sprayers per pipe, one between each pot (11/64 drill bit, just screw them in)
Pumps are the Ecoplus 396 GPH ($25)
1/2 PVC pipe for the sprayers
3/4 PVC pipe for the frame

Good Luck!

ok you rock 11/64 is the magic number i am gonna go strait into the pipe on the second system.
i may even start building them for people
i am gonna get the 600 gph pump so i can run both tubes

i will be happy to post a list but let me make the second unit first i think this will be much more cost effective.
ill do a step by step on the next build ok?
ill post it in here tonight most likely
just so you know i snap a center line dowen the tube and measure my hole spaces.
then i use a spring punch to snap my hole placements so my drill wont wander. then i use a standard 3 inch hole saw and i clean up the edges
takes like 10 min
run my pipe and cap the ends
and it is done
i have to stop at the hydro shop to get a grommet for the second design
then ill show ya

Yes.. thanks for the info. I just got some new pumps for the aero build soon. I'm going to use the fence posts. There will be a 550 pumping for 20 plants
