Any Canadian Growers?

Don't have any shots of this years yet but I do have some from last season. Everything is smaller this year, planted 2-3 week later than normal, as did most of the farmers in this area.

Years ago when I had horses that's the way we used to grow. God forbid we leave well enough alone. Farm is gone and it's all houses now.

I hope this system doesn't come across to you. I woke up to this in Alberta this morning. Outdoor season is done!image.jpg

Looking good except for the PM, are you treating it at all?
That does look like PM, southern Ontario is covered in it this year, likely something to do with last year's long/cold winter. I've been seeing it all over my neighbourhood, everything has it.

I've been spraying mine to keep it off with a solution of 1/4 tspn of baking soda, 1/8 tspn of olive oil, and a few drops of dish soap per litre of RO water. It works well, doesn't harm the plants or bud. BUT, you have to spray every 10 days or so or it will come back :(

Yeah i heard Alberta got some snow. I took my girls in, hopefully it doesn't come my way. But just to be safe.

Im ok with any temp above freezing, the reason for this is that my last years winter indoor was inside my garage and it not heated. I was using propane and some mornings id come in to 5*C with no issues.

Powdery Mildew? Yes I have been treating with baking soda mixed with water and dish soap. This strain seems to be particularly susceptible. The other one that was ripped was NOT of course. I bought seeds from Vancouver Seed Bank. 10 seeds $25 which is a mixed bag of seeds. So I don't know the strain. Any suggestions on the PM would be appreciated. I have tried Serenade as well. Hated the smell and didn't find it to be worth it.

OMG fuck that. I cannot believe it and am not looking forward to this shit. Raking leaves and then comes the shovelling. Did the leaves even have time to fall off the trees before this snow came. My niece lives in Moose Jaw. Brother in BC.

Yes PM is on my garden plants as well. My yard has lots of trees and it feels like a rain forest after a rain. We can have humid days and then it's getting pretty cool at night. I do have some indoor going on as well. Trying one plant in hydro to see if it's worth it.

No the leaves are all on. Most of the trees a falling right over from the extra weight. Lots of broken branches too

Was running a Platinum Bubba Kush strain this spring and brought it indoor through an air intake, that strain was like a magnet for it. Ran a Jack The Ripper between 2 of those PBK's and it barely got affected. Ended up culling all clones/seeds and starting fresh, won't be running that strain again...

Yes I am just trying to get a feel for growing from seed by NOT spending too much until I see how I do. I did also just ordered a feminized Deep Purple and a Romulan fem seed. Plus some autos for $15 for 10. Figured what the hell cannot go wrong. I read and read about strains that produce good yields etc. any suggestions on something I should try.

Someone came into your back yard and stole one of your plants? Holy crap. I have security cameras all over my house so I don't think anyone would have the balls to try. Plus it is hard to get into my back yard. I am in BC as well and I have 4 plants. One small one no idea why it didn't grow much. I also have 2 other PK Kush's and one Worrier skunk. The little girl is in a 15 gallon pot and the other three are in 21" pots which I would say might be 40 gallon? Not to sure. I have used 20-20-20 at first and then once they started to flower I use only organic ferts. I am new to all this lingo so excuse me if I don't know much. I grow mine sideways cause of my neighbors. Next year I think I will grow them in a circle. My first grow 5 years ago was PK kush and I was new and seeded them so I kept the seeds and use them. I would love to try something new. i grew Northern lights last year and they grew to be 7' tall but tiny buds. I never knew about lolly popping and topping so that is what I did this year and they are looking good. I think one should be ready by next week. Weird how two of the same seeds have produced two plats that are different greens.

I'd try hempy buckets, its so easy and if something malfunctions you have about 3 days to correct it. See my signature for my setup.

I tried nirvana's crystal paradise last indoor, I got here phenos, all great. One had the most intense spicy taste I've ever had. To be honest I've never tasted something so good. Like a sage spice or something.

How are people doing outdoors with their strains? My iranian haze is doing pretty good with three weeks left in september. Hopefully it'll be finished by then.
