Fans during night time?

Hello, i have problem with noise during night.
Can i turn off fans just for 6h during night as my building is shit and i literally can hear when my neighbor farts.

Growbox is 2x2x5 feet, one autoflower in it and temperature of living room where box is oscillate from 62/77 F night/day, still havent look for humidity during nights but during day it is betwen 40/65.

can you afford a damper right now? I would say so long as you do not live in a high humidity area then its ok. May wanna set a timer to kick it on for 15 minutes in the middle of that 6 hour period just to exchange the air out.

if you can afford a damper that would be the best solution. Or build one diy style..believe there are some pretty inventive muffler boxes that have been built

that would be way better then just shutting down all air movement for sure. rig them up somehow to exhaust if you can

Generally fan are used during "light" hours (only light cycle) , no need to run at night

This is just plain wrong unless you are using dehumidification.

Air extraction is required at night too otherwise you get stagnant air pockets creating breeding grounds for botrytis, PM and other nasty shit.

The only time you may consider not extracting air at night is if you are running a fully sealed and controlled grow room with AC, Co2, Dehumidification and heaters etc.

this guy is trying to ruin your grow... dont listen to stupid advice.
i know it sucks having fans on 24-7, because of the noise and electrical use, but you want to keep air moving all all times in the grow room. stale air will result in pm on plants

I do not run my intake during lights out but do keep fans going to keep air circulating. I think there is no need in "my situation" to do that. Also my intake is setup on stat and dehumidistat. My humidity stays relatively low. I'm sure every grow is different. So if humidity is not an issue then is it imperative to leave it on? Or just bring it on for humidity? I've never had any issues but fairly new at indoor growing (in hydro).
