Greetings fellow growers,

I am having a little dilemma here, i have a 3x3x6 tent with one 6" exhaust & about 18 inches of intake in total with filters , now the problem is my walls are still getting pretty sucked in & my DIY tent is taking some strain but might be able to survive, should i use thinner filtering material ? Or should i put more intakes ? Thank You

Peace :peace:

Why are you filtering your intake
Well the tent is in my room, im pretty much near it quite alot, dont want all sorts of stuff blowing onto the plants, i have a extra 90 cfm fan i could add but thats only 1 fan on 4 intakes then.. not sure what to do.. only thing i can think of is a filter that allows more air flow

What kind of filter are you using, if you just don't want particulate getting sucked in I'd go for a loosely woven cloth at most

Im using one of those foam filters man basically cut it out to 120mm pc fan size so i have 4 of them, i rate i just get another filter & i went and bought this filter because somebody else recommended furnace filters for my intake : / Waste of money i dont have...

Currently using this type of filter on my computer

Lets in some finer particles of dust but not so bad, that or some other mesh filter thats thin, this grow room is driving me insane now though ... when will it stop..

Thanks bro, i understand what you mean, i rate i just go for the filters i pasted then, i bought the furnace foam filter for my fans intake port so it doesnt pull dust into my air cooled hood that was the main purpose i bought it for, im hoping i wont get pollinated though, lots of people in the area who dont know how to pull out males : / Last 2 outdoors i had were pollinated one of them werent bad the other was covered in seeds from top to bottom, ive got a light block going aswell but yeah just need the proper filters cause all that sucking in is jeoprodizing precious space. Peace :peace:

to be really accurate i have 4 intake holes, i have two of these on the side more prone to dirt

On the other side less prone to dirt i also have a foam filter but its for a furnace & its a little thicker,so i rate i take these furnace filters out over there & try the mesh filters i pasted in the previous message, only thing i can do is try at the end of the day ! Damn i wanna be blazing the good BUD :joint: a plan is always possible !

Right at the bottom of that large continent in the middle of map, thing is it was like 3-4 years ago this happened, people just throw seeds everywhere, grows well in a few places here especially thats it kinda sub tropical here.

Where I'm from there is noone growing so I don't have the worry of pollination and seeds are rare around here so no one would just rabdomly throw seeds

Yeah dude i guess there's pro's & cons about it like anything & the problem is im already making this 3x3 stealthy but now i have heat issues in the day & the tent sucking in, so yeah guess ill run the lights at night & get some better filters. Peace :peace: Thank you for the advice !
