Hello everyone in going to make this thread to help newer growers that wanna just experiment.. Everyone input and helping to build this inexpensive setup some might say ghetto but so ppl can try it out without turning pockets inside out and not enjoying so here we go only starting things is gonna be a 6 slot power cord, 3 sockets and 3 y sockets 4 60watt equivalent 5000k and 1 100watt equivalent 2700k.. I have alot of bag seeds from good pot in the past years ill use here for the game/project.. Now that's said lets build this box from just the items I said before so basically we have our lights

Had some inspiration when I got home and decided I'd actually put the 1 100w equivalent CFL in between then 4 60w equivalent CFLS deciding what to use for a poor mans box and I mean we are doing this as a grind as u go showing a poor man can grow it if they wanted to and still buy a 40oz for dinner ;) even if that means using a corner of ur room with white sheets hung around the plants to keep light in and have weight on bottom so fans don't blow them everywhere.. This gonna be a fun ride to see how much I can get without having nearly anything.. Just an example say only spending 100$-200$ more then what I paid alrdy for lights we staring with that I grinded out of a drawer of old junk..

What's MG and I doubt a pound off this I'm assuming barely anything this is just to show it can be done on low budget and as u go with cfls in a "poor mans box" like i said even if was in the corner of a room with sheets for white walls lol.. Update: Headed home then gonna check on seeds germinating for taproots to see if baby's are ready to begin their journey in a poor mans test grow ;).. Also I have grown before inside a normal computer tower years ago just wondering it would work without it being custom built to be tall had 2 lights and 2 PC fans got roughly a quad off the one plant due to other being male.. I Scroged the heck out of that plant the whole grow sence it was like 1-2" tall lol also topped it twice due to height getting to tall and burning itself on lights.. Also consistently cut fan leafs off

plus usually ur around 1k to get 1lb or more lol I'm not dumb nor asking for smart ass remarks doing this grow for fun nothing serious if u don't want to participate then please leave my thread thank you

I have mylar btw.. And no I wasn't serious being being theoretical.. If you can't deal with it then leave I don't have time to play your games because ur bored and having nothing better to do then troll on forums..

I'm enjoying this thread. I like to see what people can do on the cheap. Subbed up and if you want I'll throw in an occasional idea for cheap improvments if you want.

Your best bet for super cheap grow stuff... Light fixtures fans etc. Is your local thrift store.

Glad ur interested!! Welcome to the show!! Anyways so start off the light setup I alrdy have should be enough for 1-2 micro grow right? And so the next step is finding a box to do this in I've been looking at garage sales and stuff but nothing yet.. Once I go home ima check my seeds that are germinating for tap roots then I will plant them in water bottles with the top cut off or ill go buy plastic beer pong cups and have to rig something just to have light on them till I get my box.. Like I said this is more of an experiment and adventure to see what's possible with spending unde like 300-400 bucks that's the whole point. Must be done right though of course :) cheers man

Goodwill, salvation army, Value Village, any second chance/thrift store....

If you want cheap; you can build a GREAT box at home depot for around $50.
2 cheap sheets of plywood (which they will cut for you how ever you like) $30
3-4 2'x4's (they will also cut for you) $6-$9
a couple hinges $2.50
a hasp $1.99
1lb box of screws $6.47

if you need plans I can help you out... Its quite easy to build even by yourself.

a little amazon searching will find you a 75 watt Apollo UFO LED for about $65 with free shipping (they work great)
fans, filters, and nutrients can be purchased on amazon as well....
I like your plastic bottle idea as well, you should go for 2 liter bottles because they have the most "uniform shape" and plastic crates that hold 8 are easy to find behind your local convenience store....
