Hey guys I'm just wondering because this is only my second grow my first was in a pc grow box I made which I only got around 7 grams start to finish..... But this time I'm doing an actual grow, now that I know I can do it lol but my question is based on how my pics look, if I were to flower this Friday would I get close to an ounce? Also once I do switch I plan on using overdrive and bud candy but right now I'm just using fox farm grow big, also I have 5, 14 watt 6500 kk light bulbs which I bought at Home Depot all I could afford this time lol.... srry for such a long read also but thanks for the help!

Only a very experienced grower that is growing in the same way with exactly the same environment over numerous runs can reliably estimate yield.

The common response to such questions on RIU are "about a pound", but we're just being facetious when we say that.

When I grow the same strains in the same numbers in the same setup all from the same genetics, I can estimate pretty accurately. Change one thing, and all that changes.

Oh ok thanks guys! So then just based on how it looks and based on your experience what do you guys think keep in veg or flower?

Top them and flower in a week. A one ounce average is pretty doable.
Well my plant has been topped two times equalling 4 tops but somehow there growing two more per top equalling 8 in about a week when they've fully come in so bugeye or anyone else should I top again?
Also the strain I'm growing is ch9 blue lemon thai

Then LST and flower now. I don't think you have the lights to warrant waiting much longer.

Oh ok then should I boost the amount of lights I have when I switch?also what type of lst would u suggest?
More light more better. Just bend those top shoots down, tie them down and try to get all of your growth tips on the same level.

Oh ok sounds good but then I have another question when I topped the first time the tops grew uneven and I thought they would correct themselves later on but one shoot grew a lot taller than the other shoot enough to where. Q

Is this a good lst anyone? I'm really new to lst and just wondering if I did it right? And will the tops eventually grow straight?

That's the idea. Best place to bend them is at thickest part of stem that is still pliable. You can tie them pointing down and they will be vertical again by morning.

I understand being tight for cash but if u plan to flower using cfls than go to the dollar store if u have too and get some 2700-3500k warm bulbs to help promote flowering when u switch to 12/12.
Using cfl is borderline worth the risk to grow but u should get a zip per plant.

Save up some cash and buy a piece at a time.
Good luck man.

Oh ya I more than plan on putting more lights up in flower...,. I'm planning on adding 5-6 3500k more from my original 5 do you think that's adequate?

Not trying to be a dick but you got some priorities out of whack, your on your 1st real grow & your using cfl's due to budget constraints, which i fully understand , what i dont understand is your plan to use some of the most expensive fertilizer on earth , bud candy & grow big are not magic sauces & will not increase your yeild 1 bit vs super inexpensive fertilizers, Peters or Jacks classic are as good or better than any other nutrient on the market at 1/10th the price .

If you can scare up cash to buy botique nutrients your cash would be better spent buying more cfl's or even a cheap 400 watt hps light system.

The absolute most important part of a grow system is lighting & everything else is secondary , also do some google research on NPK values , research Macro & micro nutrients & what each phase of the grow you'll need to feed the plants different nutrient ratios , you can grow.just as good weed using Miracle Grow vs grow shop big $ nutes once you get a firm understanding of what Macro & Micros pot plants use & when they need specific ratios your harvests will explode .

Well those where just the nutrients I had on hand I had from some gardening a couple months ago so I decided to use them for it because I had them..... But what have you heard of overdrive nutrients for flower and bud candy? Also I'm going to try and buy a 600 watt hps grow light for my next grow

I agree
Only use cfls til u get an hid.
Like i said buy it in pieces if u have to. It will cost more over the long run but it wont hurt as bad.
I would get a mh/hps switchable for the option to change but thats just me
