~lol~ Everytime you post the Iraqi death figures, you increase the number. Is that just for effect, or can you supply proof of your assertions? :blsmoke:

This is the message I received:

"The enemy, who targets civilians, is NOT Responsible for the deaths.

We, who direct our forces to avoid collateral damage whenever possible, are responsible.

9-11 is our fault, too.

In fact, name a problem in the world and the U.S is the root cause.

We are a bad nation. We deserve to be punished."

Who needs proof when you 'heard' something somewhere?

I really think its funny when people think that our nation is such a bad place. Were so mean to everyone and nobody likes us. Boo hoo. Nobody fu*ks with us either, and when they do "ka-boom"! Were on them like stink on shit. We need to have a strong military and show the world that if you mess with us we'll whip that ass. This is our homeland and nobody messes with it. I really suggest that people get out of this country and go visit other places. Not your "clubmed" places but 3rd world country. Week governments that get bullied by skumlords. Thats no a nation that I want to live in. And please pack up and leave if you hate this place so much. We'd be better off without the negativity all the time. p.s. 9-11 was not our fault and we DID NOT plan it, sorry to break it to you all. Its smokin time, I'll be back peace

I love my country...but you seem to be missing the #1 good thing about the US ...if you don't like what's going you can complain...do you want to live in a country that doesn't have freedom of speech or you want people to believe the way you believe?

Who said that? Please note that whoever said it was expressing their opinion. The are not forcing anyone out of the country based on their opinion.

Whoever said it had the right to say it. I may disagree with that sentiment and I have the right to say so.

Attributable quotes are much easier to dispute.

Two on point links. Thanks Johnny. Funny and enlightening.

Gerald Baker was shown reading his piece on Hannity and Colmes last night. I laughed so hard I almost busted a gut.

McCain just flip-flopped on his promise of no new taxes. I'm not surprised, as I don't see any way around higher taxes for at least some people. When you have a 9 trillion dollar debt, you have to raise income somehow, or let the interest payments build and grind you into dust. The surprising thing is that he ever promised no new taxes in the first place. It was an untenable position to take. Paying off debts takes income. Paying off historically monumental debts takes *lots* of income. It's gotta come from somewhere. Not being rich, I prefer that it come from rich folks, and it seems Obama agrees, and even McCain is coming around to that position now. He's just a little slow figuring stuff out, McCain is.
