1000 watt in 2 bedroom an issue?

I can't seem to understand why you would put this post in a LED thread. But then again you did ask the infamous question: How much will it yield?

Ok, Thanks man...I'm doing 10 autos...under 2 600 watt mh/hps!!soil and home made co2 tanks...just estimate if everything goes right what could my yield be?

Hey fellas...i decided to not go with the 2 600 watt mh/hps but to go with 4 200 watt hood fixtures cfl 6200k then switch to 4 175 watt cfl which is 2100k for flowering..do you think this is adaquete lighting for 10 autos...i think it should be but I'd like some good advice from you guys????

You would get better results with t5s and better feedback from the fluorescent section.

Sounds like a horrible idea considering fluorescent bulbs are roughly half or less as efficient as hid or led lighting. But to each their own.

Well I'm just tryna figure out what would be best...like I said I've grown 8 plants under about 14 cfl which equaled 440 watts. ..they did good considering I didn't even have the right cfl for veggie...i think they all was 2100 k...so I no cfl will do the job..but I'm looking for the highest yield I can possibly get with these auto strains...and I'm also thinking about my electric bill...so out of mh/hps. Cfl and led what would be the best..I've never grown with led before...

Depends on your budget and willingness to delve into the diy world. A diy cob light can match or exceed the efficiency of an hid. Supra thread on diy lights with the cxa 43070 would be a great read.

Though I think a single 315 watt sunsystem lec system would be your best bet. Either that or a parabolic reflector and kit from advanced tech lighting. For what you're wanting to do.

Ok il check that out def...this chicken from this company tried to tell me she don't think 2 600 watt fixtures would be enough light for 10 plants...when I easily did 8 plants under 440 watts...so I'm just tryna figure it all out before I start spending money

Honestly if you just want to be cheap just pick up a 600w hps. 10 plants should take up less than half your space and a single 600 should suffice.

Well should I use the hps all the way through veggie and flowering..or should I use the metal halide for veggie and the hps for flowering?

You could, but if the interest is saving money, then Iit's not necessary.

If you plan to run photo's, then it may be worth it to do so.

Well the fixture I would be buying comes with both lights..mh and hps..but I don't no if 1 600 watt fixture is enough light for 10 auto plants?

Don't think in terms of plant count. Instead ask if one 600w is enough to cover your grow area. In general, a 600w is good for a 3'x3'.

You need to make up your mind... hid tech is roughly twice as efficient as cfl. If 400w of cfl light was adequate, 600w of hid light will blow you away.

What is the exact sitezzyF to find them..I went to advance tech lighting but I don't think that was the right site..u have the Web adress??
