True OG Cross (Herm Report)

Got some beans given to me by someone as they were a gift to him and he wanted to share his love. I am 76 days into flower with nice thick colas and delicious smells coming from two plants. I just want you guys to know that I started to get the bananas and the hairs haven't fully turned orange yet. The trichomes are really close to ready but the hairs on the buds aren't telling me that.

I let them go and have been giving them straight water every two days with a super small dose of nutes ( 500 ppm) on the third.

I guess they are ready to come down they are dropping their top leaves and the buds on top are nice and solid but the middle of the cannopy isn't finished.

I picked off the nanners last night in a rush and forgot to take pictures. I will go hunting tonight and try to get you guys some shots of the hermillionaires. The nanners I popped off dropped pollen too so I am pretty sad because I am so allergic to the pollen .

oh well...

Anyways just watch out for hermaphrodites with your True OG crosses, I would say that goes for every single one as the True has always been an upper level to expert growers plant.

BTW in the honor of transparency it is not a strain that was released but one that was kept to run hundreds of to find a new mother. You guys may be safe I just want to give everyone a heads up before they get surprised.

(another reason I was in a rush is because that tent is too close to the main tray and I don't want to let the light out for more than 10 minutes at a time. I have set of lights turn off 30 minutes before the other lights turn on. Both set of lights are 11/13 to try and minimize any hermaphrodites due to light. The True OG are in a tent of their own which is very light tight and any specs of light are covered with gorilla tape.)

It uses the original clone only mother and another strain I have never heard of "abba zabba". F it I will chop some of her down and see if I can get some pics. For the first time I hope I didn't pick them all off so I can share it. I am in no way saying that the seeds are bad I just want people to know that the possibility is there at the end and to look out for it. Made by the same circle but not part of their release. I have to check what genetics are in each line but the abba zabba is somehwere in there.

I trimmed 4 branches without gloves and my fingers are sticking to the keyboard and my scissors already need cleaning... this thing is packed with resin.

Looks like some fire bro. It's a good thing that you had sense enough to pluck them instead of culling it. If you have more seeds you should try and find a good pheno that doesn't intersex.
I know I had to do it with cabin fever forest fire. A few were full on he she's that were culled, a couple showed balls that were plucked, but I did score one great plant.

I cloned them and there are 8 plants in the hydro tray 4 of each seed so I am hoping they don't banana up as they are a month behind but look almost bigger than these ones.

I've had nanners show up on the seed run and then never again in the subsequent clone runs. If it's dank I'd run it again brotha.

I always give plants 3 runs before if it shows herm tendencies before I throw it out. Many times have I seen and had clones that won't herm. Never throw out unless full blown herms. Give it another go takes notes. Certain things can chase it so just be mindful of what you do and conditions

I think my problem is letting them go too long, the website says the true og takes 52-60 days and I let her go 74... probably my bad for being greedy shoulda chopped them closer to 60. The clones I took are already almost done flowering so I will have to pop more seeds if I want to keep growing this one.

Oh yea well that was mos def the problem. She was trying to survive bro yea don't wait that long to chop that girl again but aww damn well at least you have more to pop. You could try to reveg one of the flowering clones once finished but don't know if it's worth it to try since you have more beans

Yeah you are totally right about that, I usually go by the trichs but I was doubting my instincts due to the constant growth. I will try and get a weight on each plant but I am guessing at least 4 oz a plant in 3 gal buckets.

I also like how the smaller nuggets are finished , they look like little half gram or gram nugs but hell I rathr have a nug than a larffy.

Man a true landrace strain will do the same thing. They will trick you and a lot of them will finish from the bottom to the top. It's crazy but that sounds like a damn good yield for 3 gal was that hydro or soil? I just harvested a test strain for SinCity that had nothing but huge buds everywhere. The bottom buds don't even come close to being popcorn and larf. Straight solid dense 2 grams nugs and up. The top colas were massive have been checking on them constantly during the cure to make sure no mold. Biggest buds I've grown to date

I filled the screens and didn't touch a leaf on them, might have effected them from getting too chunky on top but that is alright with me, will roll a lot of joints or make some full melt with it.

These are specifically True OG x Abba Zabba , the Grizzly Kush is True OG x ( True OG x Abba Zabba). Just making sure you know that before you order any seeds. The True OG doesn't generally yield that much at all... but this cross is a hit. I will take a pic for you right quick of the hydroponics.
