I wasn't offended. I just wanted to let you know it wasn't very squat.

LED light is super intense but not hot. You can water less because the plant won't sweat as much and the soil won't dry out as fast. Make sure you wear eye protection too. LEDs are used for lasers and can burn your retina quickly. I had to take a week of eye safety classes and an eye test (baseline damage measurement) just to be allowed in the optics lab.

I just finished moving the cfl fixture in anticipation of the leds and I'm not too happy with how much space it takes up now so it may get the boot. Kessil should be here any minute now so I'll post some pics once i get it set up.

I am pretty sure that is the same Xen Lux LED Ufo that I had! Post pics. Yea, I had no idea what LED bleaching was until I got the UFO to close over tops! Luckily I caught it quick. Just remember to watch how your leaves and plants react. Also rember to adjust as plants grow up. No one can tell you the "ideal range" which is somewhere right in between maximum and minimum height. Your plant will though.

Appreciate all the tips so much thanks guys! The kessil is all set up but I did it rather hastily as I was already late for work. I'm sure it'll be moved a few times before I find the sweet spot and the ufo should be here this weekend which will bring about more shifting around.
Didn't have much time to admire the little thing but damn is it bright, I can see how it may cause retina damage

So I finally got around to getting pictures, as you can see the new leds are all set up I just need to do some tidying up with hanging wires and holes in the wall so it doesnt look so sloppy. Can't wait to see how these perform, I was running just the kessil for a couple days and they were loving it so hopefully they take kindly to the ufo as well. lightson.JPG

So how do you all get "down and dirty" with your Kessil Led's. Im talking about how low can you get these bad boys before your girls show adverse signs? I always start plants on the reccomended 24"(H350) and 18"(H150) for the maximum footprint. However as plants get bigger and more resilient to intense light, I am sure you can get them allot closer to tops. Just wondering where you pros have experienced the "danger zone" or bleaching, crinkling leaves, and burnt buds with H150 and H350? Or at what heights rather are your Kessil "sweet spots"?

I have not flowered yet with the spinner. It makes my room too humid to have that big of a plant inside. I am building a lab for growing with the Kessils. I just need to get a job first.

I do not measure the distance. I just watch and see what my plants like best.

Ive seen those kessils for sale, they come in cool shapes, but they are very expensive. always wondered how well they do, do you use the white UFO led to help with flowering?

Hey guys, I just have one question for you. Now I have Kessil h150 Purple , Red, Blue grow lights. I want to grow in closet and I think, to buy extra 2x h150 magenta or 1 x H350 magenta? Because purple and blue would be fine enough for vegging..

Hello! This is my second grow, on this pant I am using Kessil H380. This is damn bright LED light, it consumes about 90-94W of power. Price was high 299$, this was my decision just because of stealth grow. Here are some pics of Big Devil 2 auto strain at day 23:

And for comparison i added a picture of my first grow at day 24 with the same Big Devil 2 strain when I was growing with Chinese UFO 180W LED light (55W actual power draw only) 10 band 3W LEDs. Plant was more wide at first weeks of weg, but later it stretched and I needed to add some CFLs. I think that happened because beam of light was wider and penetration was poor.

Thank you for a quick response. I do not want to spam this forum, but I have another question. I saw the price of H350 is ~260 but H380 like Yourfuneral posted 300 bucks. Maybe should I buy H380 insted your suggested H350? What is your personal opinion? :)
