What exacty is LOUD???

I personally think LOUD is a universal street scam. I mean when you have to buy meds now....convienently Loud is all dealers have. Why? Cause it's supposed to be of the higest quality....hence it is twice the price. That means $20 a gram opposed to $10 a gram for some Mid (which of course is never available). Regs or regular crap weed is apparently nonexistant just like mid grade bud. So my experience with this SUPPOSED Loud, has been that it is bright neon green like the chronic from back in the day, and it stinks like concentrated petro! So much so, that riding around with a little gram makes the car smell like you are rolling with a brick of the stuff! However smoke it and there is no buzz to match the smell, or price??? Seems to me people are just spraying those regs down with some chemicals to stink it up real good....and maybe color it up nice and bright. I have gotten mid and loud of the exact same high. Yet the loud is twice the money. I think its a straight scam, that the street guys go by these reg, mid, and loud terms....like you are buying gas.

You are probably right......it just a game really. This is nothing new though- it's been going on forever. Find somewhere else to shop is all you can do, where they have a different philosophy in dealing with customers.

Lmao.. loud is a slang term like bomb, kill, fire, and so on..nothing more nothing less. It's just a made up word used to describe really good weed.. ..

You can thank kid cuddi? For that street slang (radio loud?, nah that weed is loud). I have been medicating literally every day for over 13 years non stop. I dont buy random weed, if the dealer doesnt know the difference from OG kush or Headband and just calls it loud, even if i figure it out on my own i still wont buy it just to never have to hear that again. Then again, people where i live are pretty passionate about MJ. The bag will be named after the strain always. I only hear kids talk about "loud" "dank", another reason why i wont buy from that crowd because im a grown ass man who has no time for ignorance. Btw "loud" is not a certain type of weed, its basically any weed any strain that is A+.

Around here "loud" is a term people use to describe the smell of weed. Loud means it has a strong smell. Weed with a strong smell is usually pretty potent.

That being said I've never payed more for loud. I buy top shelf no matter what so if the weed wasn't somewhat "loud" i wouldn't even be getting it. I've never seen weed sprayed with chemicals. And I doubt your dealer is spraying his weed.

If you're not getting a buzz it could have been picked prematurely in which case you should find another dealer until your current one gets a new pack.

You should learn to inspect weed before you buy it, buy in larger quantities, and haggle out a price that you find fair. Nickle and diming is always going to get you screwed.

yea lol my nice said she had some loud, i stuck my ear to the bag and said i dont here shit thats some quiet lol, and it was not good weed not even loud maybe some whisper lol

While I do pretty much fully agree with you, in my experience..... in my circle of friends, which has spanned both coasts of the US, people pretty much only say loud when in public or when talking on the phone as a way of saying High Grade (just as a general description) so that non-smokers won't catch on. im sure there are plenty of people taking advantage of such tact and use it to mislead buyers. but in my experience they would just tell me loud or mid so id know what the available price ranges are and id get strain details upon meeting. but then I've always dealt with people I trusted so Ive never had to worry about it really.

I like your post. Last "loud" I bought $20 a gram looked good but, it was exactly how you described. It would give you a little buzz, but I have had MUCH better from seedy mids. It was from a friend who wanted me to go in with her. Ironically, she really thought it was loud.

My first instinct was. That it had been blasted. It still had a decent smell and looked ok, was tight as hell, but crumpled up into dust when you busted it up. I think some are blasting out the THC and then selling it as loud.

Anyway, my friend is clueless so I didn't tell her what I thought. Especially since I don't know for a fact that it had been blasted, I'm just guessing why good looking weed was so weak.

Anyway. I think this is an excellent point OP made.

Once we get weed legalized federally and regulated, those in the industry will want to protect their brand name and rep. This stuff will still happen, but at least we will have the op to flock to places we can trust and help the legit build business. Plus, it scares me what some people might put in their weed to enhance it some ways.

lol this thread has me rollin.. I'm sure you've had stuff that's smelled like that and been the heat right? Smell is just one of the few factors you know? sometimes it smells great, gets you high as hell, but tastes like crap.. Other times has no smell, tastes great and gets you high..Personally I'm always aiming for the trifecta and of course there are more factors than just those few.. what you describe smells and tastes fine but doesn't get you high.... Just the way the brownie crumbles my brotha.. jus the way it crumbles..
