White Widow flowering , low on crystals

My 2nd grow got this White Widow seeds from seedbank blah blah.

Info :

Vegetative stage : 6 weeks
Nutes : Bio Biz
Soil : Special Bio Biz Growing Soil
Light power : Around 350 Watt CFL 6500k cold
Light program : 20 ON 4 OFF

Flowering stage : 7 weeks , now week 7 and 2 days
Nutes : Bio Biz + Terra Flores for Flowering
Light power : HPS 250 Watt + 2 CFL 2500k (50 Watt) warm
Light program : 8 ON 16 OFF
One time did a full 48 Hours OFF program ( 1 week ago )
First flush : 3 days ago
Nutes now : NONE
Just water : ON

Question :

Got a sample bud 2 weeks ago got it dried smoked and no effect. Not even a little.

1. Got another sample today , will it be better because is more amber ?

2. Why so low on crystals ? I see almost none !

that stupid lighting schedule is mostly to blame i would say.

for flowering you should use 12/12. that looks like reveg bud to me where that plant is concentrating on growing stems and leaves instead of flowers and resin.

use 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering and never ever flush, that will harm resin production too imo

How hot is it and what the humidity lvl? And far is ur light away

8 on 16 off light schedule

if that isn't the number 1 culprit above all other variables then i quit as a grower. i have heard some crazy shit on these stoner forums but never the 8/16 lighting schedule for flower.

Should be 12/12 and those buds look fox tailed and whispy which is from to high temps I think, keep feeding her she looks like atleast another 2 or 3 weeks away, never go by what the breeder says its always different flowering times due to conditions etc looks nice though are the buds dense or lite?

It's hormone stress I think, because of your lightning schedule. Allowing dark periods longer than 12 hours speeds up fluffy flowering, but affects resin production big time, as you can see!
Somebody give me a punch in the nuts if I'm wrong!

UPDATE :

Switched back to 12/12 Program now ( day 3 )

She is looking fine with big dense buds but so low on crystals.

Most of my top buds have white pistils, why ?

I feed her only water now ... Is this ok ?

The leaves are starting to get yellow and dry ... so is it time to cut her down ?

You have crappy lights and a crappy light schedule and you should have some light nutes in the 7th week but it would not matter as you do not have the light to support it. Also it is herming out from lack of proper grower.

You don't have to act so superior, anyway if you read my first post you will see this is just my 2nd grow and my first time with 3 girls.

For the others who would like to help :

Should I cut it down or what ?
Could it be smoked and get a decent buzz or nothing at all ?
How do I know it it is ready to harvest ? Because top bud pistils are still white ...

could be a number of reasons... I would guess genetics.. It still seems they have a while more to go. Your harvesting by trich color right? Get a microscope, and look at the trichome colors. Harvest when trichomes are at desired color. You probably cutt the "sample" way to early... WW is a sativa dominant, so it's going to take more than 8 weeks to fully mature... Maybe even longer depending on the genetics and the environment..

He might come across (to some) as rude...but he is right. ( For the most part...a 250 HPS should be enough for one or two plants...not so tall maybe, might want to top them next time )
I'd cut my losses and start over. You could grow it for another month but it won't get any better,

It's like going to the library and asking the librarian to tell you what a book is about so YOU don't have to read it, it's soo much easier. There is a fricking library at your finger tips with photos. I just gave you more help than any hand holding bullshit reply you might get. Like that of numb nuts 3 post above.

As for hacking them down, I personally wouldnt waste any more power/time/light etc. on those plants. Enjoy what you have now and let it tide you over til your next grow. In the time you spend trying to get these to be better, you could start over and actually start with good pot and a good feed/light cycle. Your light cycle (8/16) was most likely the biggest offender in your quality, frost and foxtailing. I do believe that the post about them looking like they are hermie is true. At this point, you will probably just be maturing seeds. Take it in stride and learn from this grow what not to do on your next. Also, those dont really look like white widow to me? They appear more sativa from the thin leaves. I'm growing WW myself right now and they are indica dominant with fatter leaves. Most likely a 9wk flower even though the breeder says 7-8 wks. Picture is currently at 6 wks flower. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. So I get +1 cut it down, I will wait a bit more and if everyone tells me to cut it down I will do it. No answer to this question about : will it have any potency, would get a 1 year smoker - a decent buzz, if I cut it down now ?

I wouldnt imagine it to be very potent at all.
Low trichomes = low THC %.
Low THC % = little to no effect.
Hard to say if it will get you high? Everyones tolerance is different.
Does a Snickers really satisfy? Depends on who's eating it.

Haha nice answer, like that ! I was reading about this on the internet about foxtailing and hermies and ppl report that they got a pretty good high from it and now I am even more confused , will it make more sugar (THC) if I let it be ? Should I keep giving her nutes ?

I think the best test is this : I took a sample 3 days ago and it will be dry in 1-2 days, so I will test it and decide if no buzz I will cut it down and trash it all, but what if she will make more sugar if I let it be anoter 2-3 weeks ? PS: But the leaves are telling me that she is allready at the end ...
