thick buds but u lose on resin amountI just planted an automatic mary earlier today and was wondering if 24/0 light cycle would b ok? If anyone tried this light cycle how'd it turn out? Thanks
Thanks I work alot so the most convenient for me would be 24/0 untill I can afford some timers as long I get something descent ill b happy.thick buds but u lose on resin amount
tried every combo of light hours .....20/4 works the best
im not too sure on that. some strains seem to prefer 18/6. it really depends on the plants.. but you should have some darkness always.. seems like they grow in the dark. faster than when the light is on.. 20/4 to start i like to move it down to 18/6 when I see white hairs..kind of makes sense in line with nature.. the whole autoflower trait comes from hemp that is grown very very far north.. I happen to live in this kind of area.. and when you plant them in may the light is about 19/5 and goes up to 22/2 in june and by mid to late august (when you harvest an auto in the far north ) its about 16/8...thick buds but u lose on resin amount

Yeah makes sense I'll fit in 4 hours somewere if its that important. So after about a month switch it to 16/8 for flowering?im not too sure on that. some strains seem to prefer 18/6. it really depends on the plants.. but you should have some darkness always.. seems like they grow in the dark. faster than when the light is on.. 20/4 to start i like to move it down to 18/6 when I see white hairs..kind of makes sense in line with nature.. the whole autoflower trait comes from hemp that is grown very very far north.. I try to follow nature a bit..but yes at least 4 hours dark..plants need sleep too..
Yea, sounds good.. They need a really good start. 16/8 or 18/6 or 20/4 would all work fine.. I'd probably go 20/4 in flower.. make sure to get them in 3-5 gallon pots and don't transplant them. You should LST the main as soon as you are able to tie it down. usually around the 3rd node or so.Yeah makes sense I'll fit in 4 hours somewere if its that important. I already planted in a solo cup. A transfer wouldnt hurt it anymore than a non-auto would it?Yea, sounds good.. They need a really good start. 16/8 or 18/6 or 20/4 would all work fine.. Yes, transplant into big pot ASAP. Autos are different in that way. The first three weeks are so critical. It's a sprint to get that lady as large as possible before flower begins.. I have read some posts that suggest that autos stop growing or begin to flower when the tap root hits the bottom of the container. I'm not sure if that's true, but transplanting them is not the best idea.I already planted in a solo cup. A transfer wouldnt hurt it anymore than a non-auto would it?
is just plain ignorance on your part ...all newbs do it these days..I just planted an automatic mary earlier today and was wondering if 24/0 light cycle would b ok? If anyone tried this light cycle how'd it turn out? Thanks
I'm not sure I follow you on this. I mean, I'm all for caring about animals and stuff, but what does that have to do with 24/0 for Autoflowers?is just plain ignorance on your part ...all newbs do it these days..
but in reality it proves grower ignorance on one of the most basic principles of life,
..look to improving your relationship with sentient beings, above all else, and understand that one basic, of all functions being 'Carbon Exchange'
consider keeping a fish, mouse cat even a dog ...so you can in time ..learn to care?
