i was at 0 - 90 the day i left the hospital. i can actually walk on it. ever so lightly. it's not something i do all day, but yesterday i caught myself taking a step or two on it without even realizing it. todays surgeons are amazing.

Glad to hear you are up and about FDD. Try not to over do it though. Is it still as painful? I could not imagine this truama. Do you have to start re-hab once the wound is healed? I am sorry to see have to go through this it sure looks miserable. Keep positive, it could have been a lot worse.:peace:

Man that they are... 3 hip...2 shoulder.. metal joints and staples.. same shit I used as a mechanic.....
I bet you're like I was.. Take it easy Mr. twisty... sure Doc.... 10 minutes I'm doing stairs in the hospital..... They wouldn't let you leave the rehab hospital unless you had help, and me living alone gave them the idea I couldn't cope... screw that.. I heal better at home.. you get that I bet... heal quick friend..

because i torn no tendons or muscles, and everything is bolted and plated together, it's all pretty solid. i'm having some pretty serious joint pain and then an all around deep throbbing. i was almost in tears when i woke up 30 mins ago. the pills are just starting to kick in and my smile is growing.:mrgreen:

If you lived closer, I would come and tend your garden for you. How is that doing? Do you have some help for that? :peace:

my injury has not slowed me one bit. i literally crawled around on my ass for hours yesterday. i had to crawl under the big scrog plant and remove all the dead leaves. it's pretty cool to have my whole body under a screen of green. i just laid there with my head in the dirt smiling.

Marijuana is not a direct painkiller, it just makes you stoned, therefore being able to deal with the pain.........Marijuana and Oxy is no comparison
I disagree, having discovered its utility in directly controlling my back pain. It does not even begin to touch my hip pain, but my back, definitely. I have a friend with fibromyalgia, and it significantly reduces her pain. She had to spend just over a month in St. Helena doing rehab because she was so badly addicted to SROMs (slow release oral morphine). Thanks to the pain control afforded her by medical mj, she has been able to stay away. Because of her addiction problems, she is not a candidate for that drug (Lyrica? or.. I can't remember what it's called) that's come out for fibro people.

You can disagree if you like:mrgreen: but to think that by just smoking marijuana to take the pain away from the injury FDD recieved is ludacris imo......I totally understand what painkillers and opiates do to you....been there done that and still do:hump: but to put marijuana in a class with opiates just doesnt seem to work the same for me.......Marijuana does not take any pain away from me.......it just takes my mind off of it allowing me to deal with it:hump: But it does effect everyone differently

I'd say pot is good for my hip pain, IBS pain and not so much my back..but the one thing I do know is that I can take a joint every hour of the day and not be a junkie,
plus you won't die smoking too much.. I know both pot and opiates well.. Demerol,
Morphine, Empracet (tyl. + codiene)..plus heroin.. I swear by pot just because of the safety factor....
