"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation" -Ben Carson

I know, right? It's as if he's been spoon fed a script from the O'Reilly Factor and is surprised that people aren't sycophantically nodding at his 'talking points'.

When in the hell did you ever watch the O'Reilly factor?

There you go again talking out your ass.

It pays to be aware of the enemy's perspective, even if I vehemently disagree with it.

I sometimes watch the O'Reilly Factor for a good laugh at how the right gobbles it up. Pretty much like turkeys who look up at the sky when it's raining, and we all know how that turns out...

If you can honestly point out anything that's funny as opposed to being factual, I'm all ears.

Never noticed the a "right" audience before. Sure you're not hallucinating, seeing things, hearing things?

YOU need to watch The Five. Geraldo blew it yesterday, lost his temper AGAIN and almost threw a fist at Eric Bolling.

That's how (intolerant) liberals react. He quickly apologized going into a break. Guy is nuts.

What happens to turkeys that look up in the rain? Is it similar to how every thread in the RIU Politics section ends?

Neither Geraldo or any other talking head that Faux Spews might prop up in front of a camera speaks for me, my views or even liberalism in general. But if you've really been taken in for this long, I'm already talking to a monkey.

Amazing to me, in 2015, we haven't even come far enough along that a candidate could
say openly that they were atheist and don't accept on evidence that any of the various
religions were true. Christianity is absolutely ridiculous... mythology. As they all are.
Morals and justice and humane, respectful treatment of your fellow man do not
come from any religion or invisible deity. All of those myths are a perversion of
reality and truth.

Lol it's a false statement but a funny one nonetheless. The story goes that domesticated turkeys are so dumb that when it rains they'll look up at the sky and eventually drown from having their beaks open. But, yes, your assumption also kind of does stand too because in all actuality domesticated turkeys freak out when it starts to storm.

A lot of it is funny, and not factual. A lot of it is spin too, or an extreme right wing view, which to me is also funny. Do you really want me to show you how you're not really all with it by saying Bill O'Reilly is the Saint of Truth Telling? (see that? That's spin.) Cuz I can. :D

Also Geraldo blowing up and almost throwing a fist at Eric Bolling sounds hilarious.

Yeah they put Geraldo up there on Fox News as a the "liberal" view, then they surround him by a bunch of Conservative jackasses that yell over him. I almost want to write to MSNBC and be like, "Hey let's get Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, Rachel Maddow, and... Sean Hannity, all on a show together like how they do on Fox with Alan Colmes and Geraldo."

Again, you do not watch the show. Geraldo yells over everyone. He's rude and has an anger problem.

What did Juan Williams have to say about the Pope's visit today?

What FOX News contributor and man of God, a well respected priest, have to say to Greg Gutfeld, an agnostic, today? It was funny as "hell"!

If you think Geraldo is a "fair and accurate representation of a liberal news caster," boy oh boy to quote Aladdin, "I can show you the world..." Lol. Also, Ben, I said I sometimes watch.

“I very much hope that I am the only person on this stage who can say this, but I know there are millions of Americans who will say the same thing. My husband Frank and I buried a child to drug addiction. We must invest more in the treatment of drugs.

“We are misleading young people when we tell them marijuana is just like having beer. It’s not. And the marijuana they’re smoking today is not the same marijuana that Jeb Bush smoked 40 years ago. We need to tell young people the truth. Drug addiction is an epidemic and it is taking too many of our young people. I know this sadly from personal experience.”

–Carly Fiorina, Republican Presidential Candidate, at the 9/16/2015 GOP Debate
