Ok just a few pics before i get to work on the rest of my chores today... which are too many!

finished up the velcro flap for light cables and other stuff that needs put through the wall of the room. thought this was a great way to take care of it!

Got a couple tester dollies from the home store. i looked at castors at first to make my own, and they were more expensive than just buying these @$14 a piece or something. so i just bought 2 to try them out. wire mesh stapled to the top for middle support of the container, and the shade garden fabric to elevate the container off of the dolly a little bit. no more picking up these bad boys for transport. this will make a nice easy way to move from veg to flower and vice versa.

and here's some IWE from the last run i did a couple months ago... 110-160, 73-110, and 45-73. this was a combination run of Black Domina, Strawberry Cough, and Brainwreck.

Quick question tho-
In your flower room I noticed the extraction filter is placed right next to the filtered intake you built. Is that a good place for the carbon?

for the moment it is sitting right there, but it's not hurting a thing so far. temps are staying 72 during the day, and i'm running the 600 watters GLASSLESS! it's my experiment over winter since it'll be cold enough. supposedly you lose 10% of light through the glass... well if that means 10% more harvest... i'm gonna shit lol. i'm going to be suspending it from the ceiling horizontally this weekend :) get it up high to suck that heat out. might try and get it on some ratchet hangers for easy up and down. i just had to get the room fired up and running. was already several days behind because of how long that beautiful floor took to do. almost a friggin week!

the dollies are essential for my no-till fabrics. i already feel like i compacted the 2 with the living mulch from moving and scooting them around too much without the dolly. i picked up 2 more yesterday for the other two no tills, so that whole section is on wheels now!

I've noticed the same shit with my fabrics. I don't much like the small ones because they're too little for a cart and when I pick them up the soil always moves making voids and it's hard to water thoroughly.

yeah sucks i still have the rest of the basement to do. i may have to move all my plants outta there when i do the acid wash... some nasty gasses from the rxns on the floor. i had too much stuff in the basement at the time to do the whole thing in one swoop. gotta try and get that project underway so the woman doesn't beat me up for not finishing it lol. i suppose i could just turn off my fans to stop air flow into the flower room for a bit and shut off one light to keep the heat down. or run them both on 360 watts. gotta love those lumatek adjustable ballasts! either way, not looking forward to it! the paints are pretty low odor though which is nice, and man does it look sweet when it's done!

That's a good idea. Turn of the intake fans with the vapors lingering. I'd try to blow the vapor out a basement window or up the stairs to the first floor.
Your intake filter is just a dust catcher for a furnace and will not assist in removing and chemical vapors. Better safe than sorry.

I have a pack of Black Dominia, I have been sitting on it for a while now. My nephew gave it to me, but there are strings attached... If it is really a good strain, I will pop the pack and deal with my nephew later!

nice! i don't know what my breeder is, i got the cut from someone around my area a couple years ago who said they ordered the seeds from overseas. SO i can not swear to its authenticity, i didnt see the package.... but it seems consistent with the descriptions i've read online. spicy/hashy flavor. very unique smell and taste. be interesting to see how yours compares!

Ok a little birthday update from me. A great way to celebrate 30 is with your brand new room, and a morning taking care of happy girls! Those of you watching, these are all being fed vegamatrix products: grow, bloom, ampit, and boost. I'm also including coconut water in the feedings as they have a zyme product, which i chose not to buy for i'll just use zymes with SSTs, coconut water, and aloe.

The Con. Cheese is about 10 days in, and stacking up nicely and super happy after a feeding this morning. i placed that little pink marker on that stake level with the apical meristem last night. thats how much the plant grew in 12 hours!

I grew it 15 years ago. Pretty good strain. Compared to what I knew then and now. I don't know if the quality would be a lot better or not if I grew it now.

If strings are attached then it not worth it. So many people gift seeds and cuts all over.

The way I look at is. If I lose this strain or drop it from my stable and I want it back. One of my friends will have it.

There's a few strains I will only gift to a couple people and no more. Thats just because I had to either jump through hoops or spend a lot or travel far or all of the above to get said strain. Those are also rare strains.

An easy way to check that would be with a lux meter. I have one and I am by no means a professional grower. A 5 minute test could easily test the light loss from the glass.

Yeah i have a cheap one offa amazon. I just havent tested it out yet to see if there was a difference. I should do that when i get some time to clean the glass pane and slap it on one of the hoods.
