The more the better, agreed.you need lots of range time and professional tactical instruction on weapon retention training and handgun use against assailant(s). anything less is liable to get you shot with your own weapon

Yes, I do. Totally understand. Holsters, weapons retention training, etc.I see your point, but the op wants to carry it in her purse at times. One in the chamber and a pen on the trigger may lead to an accident with one in the chamber. Girls keep a lot of stuff in those purses and if anything can put three pounds of pressure on that triger with a round chambered then ya....you get the point.
You should get a small hammerless revolver.I'm looking to get a hand gun for concealed carry in my purse. And for inside my house should I ever need it there. And in my vehicle. What do I need? Someone recommended a Ruger LCR. Good choice?
I've shot hand guns growing up. Up to 38. My dad was a gun lover.

ive never really read into the benifit of a hammerless gun. Why would you want one besides maybe it snagging on clothing as your trying to pull it out?You should get a small hammerless revolver.
But wouldn't that thing be bad for the environment? I'm all about going green. You should get the Qwack-o-Ray -
It will turn your enemies into flaming ducks, which will then attack other enemies. It's badass...

Reliability.......revolverIs it reliable and ok as far as safe?
More to his point...........anyone who see's that barrel and keeps coming imvho deserves some hollowpoints in the torso!Honestly if you don't practice often I would get a small revolver.
Point and click reliability.
Looks scary as shit from the wrong end.
Go with one like my kel-tec 9mm. It is a auto based on revolver action. It is safe to carry in the chamber. It has been tested to drops of over four foot with no discharge. Only thing is trigger pull is really long. Takes time to get used to.I like semi auto pistols for concealed carry because you can leave the chamber empty but have 8 in the clip. To me a revolver is scary because theres always one in the chamber. At least you have to pull back the slide and chamber a round before you can accidentally shoot yourself Also if you pull it out and slide one in the chamber most bad guys will run the fuck away real fast.
Plus no chance of having the slide jam. I m not a fan of semi auto for newbies.More to his point...........anyone who see's that barrel and keeps coming imvho deserves some hollowpoints in the torso!
