Progress is never as fast as we'd like but in these last 3 years there has been tremendous reform and progress in ending the war on weed. Most progress in my lifetime (59 years).
The new direction in leadership at the DEA is a big change.
Again, I understand the frustration but let's not ignore the progress.

So, when the drug war morphs from a prohibition form to a "permission based" form you think that bit of turd polishing will make things better?

I disagree, to make things better, the idea that people own themselves needs to be advanced, not the idea if you suck the giant cock of the state right you can get "permission" to consume something or grow a couple of plants.

I'm not interested in having a kinder master.

Surely you can grow tobacco and homebrew in the Land of the Free?

The reason people don't grow tobacco is issues of scale and curing, not legality normally.

I saw the interview on 60 M. I was shocked to see that guy there. I agree about the weed phobia... but what the hell. It's a nice / weird change. I bet Mark Emery is saying "WTF" where was that guy when I needed him. Anyway, I remember a couple of things he said. One was " We can't arrest and incarcerate addiction out of people" another was "It's a brain chemistry problem, not a moral failing" I knew there were "educated" people, in the D.C are but had no idea that there were any critical thinkers. bongsmilie

Heroin: Schedule 2
Methamphetamine: Schedule 1
Cannabis: Schedule 1

He just bought their own bullshit.
