If a plant was a hermie, wouldn't it show by week 3 of flowering?

I keep reading about the cons growing from a bagseed that was really seedy. The genetics will pass down and your plant will be a hermie.
I haven't found any seeds yet on my female sexed plant, just keep reading about bananas on your buds and wondering how to tell the difference between bananas and just new leaf growth as my bud sites are still exploding with white hairs.

There is a good chance that it won't hermie nothing said it has to hermie the problem with bag seed is the genetics are unknown and the grower before you did things in a less the proper manner I have grown bag seed before without them turning into a hermie as far as male flowers they will be easy to spot

Here is a single seed that came from one plant. So far getting frosty.3 weeks into flower. Topped once.

sorry to burst your bubble but yes it is VERY possible for plants to herm up late in flower. in fact the process of femenization known as RODELIZATION takes advantage of the fact that most plants (as a survival mechanism) will start to throw male parts/balls after completing the normal flower cycle and not being pollinated.

the sensimilla condition is stressful for plants, they WANT to get pregnant.

So just watch her closely and if any balls pop up cut the fuckers off and take her as far along as you can im sure youll be rewarded with some nice bud if you do.

Many strains will produce a few sterile nanners near the end in a desperate attempt to reproduce and is usually not a big deal.

Hermies are always a chance! But a stable environment will drastically diminish ur percentage. Most females dont hermie though. But a good amount if pushed late into flower will try to hermie.

Yeah; watch your light cycle, temperatures, and humidities very closely, and that will minimize your chances of herminization. Your room is absolutely light proof during the dark cycle, right?

The bananas thing was what got me, lol i been thoroughly checking pulled what i though was bananas but ended but being new green leaf growth

When you get bud that's seedy or even brick weed usually it's the way its grown not genetics that make it the way it is. The first year or so I started growing that's pretty much all I grew. Most came out decent for a new grower. I think growers, even people who throw seeds out in a field and let nature take its course wanna grow the biggest quantity and the best quality they can. So when you hear people say all bagseed are hermie prone genetic shit don't believe it. After 8-9 years of growing I still like growing the unknown genetics and find a beauty every once in awhile, don't underestimate bagseed or give up finding a diamond in the ruff oncae in awhile.

I agree. I took a few clones from badseed I am growing now as it has some nice genes..definately a Blueberry-Pineapple strain as the crystals on leaves reeks of it.

Yeah it's frosty as hell for the age. The structure of this plant are great as the tallest limb starts 20" below. There are around 8 total limbs making up canopy top from below.. Yeah only 2 full weeks of flower,they've been swelling like crazy, running my PPMs at 1150.
600 watt in a sun system reflector.

Ill be posting the final outcome on the general forum.

round 5-6 when i notice it is full of seed lol
