I am sure our local lefties will be along to divert this thread to a discussion of why our real threat is white, Christian males.

In the early hours of 26 October 2014, a group of Libyan cadets, who were stationed at RAF Bassingbourn, ran amok in the centre of Cambridge. Fuelled by alcohol, the cadets roamed the picturesque streets looking for victims. Four women were sexually assaulted. The Libyans exposed themselves, grabbed the women, and put their hands up their skirts. A young guy, who was inebriated after a wedding party, was seized by two of the cadets, Moktar Ali Saad Mahmoud and Ibrahim Abugtila, and raped. Describing the “Arab guys” who attacked him, the victim said, “They were horrendous, they weren’t human. I was trying my hardest and they were like overpowering me. It was horrible. Don’t say anything to my mum.”


Moahmoud and Abugtila were jailed for 12 years apiece; the men who groped the women received shorter terms and will, if the European Convention on Human Rights is willing (don’t hold your breath) be deported at the end of their terms.


All of this was deeply disturbing for the residents of a tranquil university town. I was truly astounded, however, when a Libyan spokesman appeared on our local TV news. The uniformed male said he was sorry, but the Libyans didn’t realise that you weren’t allowed to do such things in England. It was an unfortunate case of cultural misunderstanding.

There are lots of threats. Not one. I get it, I think. You don't like Arab Muslims, or maybe you dislike all Arabs? All Muslims? Is a Sikh is a Muslim? What about brown people who live near the equator, generally? Do you have a problem with them too, as a fungible group, with no individual identities or wills? I'm just curious, I honestly am. What the fuck are you trying to say, specifically?

My fascination is not with rape.

My fascination is with the hypocrisy of the left. After being inundated with claims of "war on women", and "rape culture" and "the violent culture of the white male patriarchy" from the left, I find it telling that examples of actual rape culture are met with complete indifference and silence from the left. All of which leads me to believe that lefties are not concerned at all with rape; they are just fine with rape as long as the right people are committing the crime.

A pretty good example is the post by Mr. Huntherz above, who spews out a series of absurd, disconnected accusations, while completely ignoring the actual crime.

I think he just doesn't like rapists and a lot of arab muslims if not married have no outlet for sex except raping the unprotected. If this act of rape becomes known the raped may be stoned to death, while the rapist gets away with it. If he had a problem with brown/black would he have not used BILL COSBY the serial rapist who was just arrested?

But, and this was my point, he isn't saying anything specific at all. Everyone who isn't a rapist is against rape, it doesn't make you special. And yes, I know women in that part of the world are often punished for having been a rape victim and it disgusts me. The fact remains that the OP is not communicating anything meaningful but merely making an appeal to emotion. He's not even very clear why he is doing it. The preamble indicates he is an extremist of the right-wing variety, also. I don't think your powers of comprehension have served you particularly well in this case, but yes, we can all agree that rape is bad.

What makes you think I am "right wing"? I consider myself a moderate (small L) libertarian.

YOU ARE WRONG! First some like to watch, some like to help with the rape but not to rape and a VERY LARGE NUMBER thank its right to rape a woman if they are out alone. Why do you thank the men who do this almost always get away with this? Even when the rapes are known!

SO you don't find rape MEANINGFUL and you don't like his trying to appeal to your emotion. You don't like him not being "VERY CLEAR" with his intent of posting this? Yet "YOU" find it to be clear that he is a RIGHT WING EXTREMIST. I didn't read his post as it has been in the news, and so it should be a normal topic for a post. As for my comprehension you will find it to be better than most, if you wish. May be yours are weak.
