Can they look that tall at that age yes, can they look smaller, maybe, can they look bigger yes.

Did you have a more specific question we can answer? If you have any other question we need more information.

Hey guys from Australia. .first grow box ever and just wondering at 7 days in ive noticed roots coming outta the bottom of 1 of the seedling pots..does this mean i should repot to bigger pots? Total noob and have read conflicting info..any replies would be much appreciated. .cheers

They look that tall when they're stretching for light.top up ur soil man

Yes you need to transplant.If the roots are coming out the bottom of the seedling pot.You never want the roots circling in the pots of seedlings.More info would be great,pot sizes,soil ,nutes,lighting.

Yup 7 days,need to repot from the seedling pots.Jiffy plugs ,peat pellets,u transplant as soon as the root shows or your slowing grow.Same with seedling pots.Why you think growers are changib to air prunnnigpots and bags,because they get massive growth becuse the roots dont circle the pot.

And ive used air pots sunshine lol youre supposed to let the plants fill out the pots before transplanting n i usually losen up the root zone with my hands before planting em in their new pots...no need to tell me loool

I agree with theslipperbandit too. The roots of a plant should almost completely fill the pot before it is transplanted. pics will help settle the argument though.
