The Worst Strains to Grow

I wouldnt fuck with another Barneys "strain" if someone paid me to grow it.
That was my sentiment exactly - until now. I've got a Laughing Buddha going now that is surreally vigorous and healthy as can be. Whodathunk it? Might have to revise my Barney's opinion after all...

Ive heard this too. Barneys is hit or miss. Too inconsistent then for me. I gave them a shot years ago....couple of times actually. Never again. My buddy grew out pineapple chunk. Frikin awesome indica. Real nice. But iam never buying a barneys seed nor germing one ever again. I will run a trusted cut all day. But Barneys Seeds? Nope. Alot like Greenhouse. Never again.

Ive been banned for asking something like this, glad rollitup is open to discussion about this. The other site told me i should, "keep it positive". I gave them the middle finger

Ive been growing for 10 years and the absolute worst one i have ever grown was white widow from nirvana. My god it was horrible. I planted 4 seeds and all were the same

Pros; Did not smell at all during flower..you could stick your nose right up on the bud and smell nothing, decent yield

Cons: stretched out the wazzoo..started flowering at 14 inches didnt stop till it hit 6 foot, long thin wirey branches, the potency was the biggest joke and the high didnt last long at all, even after flushing it for a week the smoke stunk like crap and i mean like pure dog turds, The appeal looked really bad maybe because it stretched i dont know but it looked worse than mexican dirt weed. I ended up giving it away and my buddies even said it was garbage.

I have the same experience with everything I've tried to run from bcbd. ~50% would crack when germing then die immediately afterwards. Never got to know whether the strains were goof or not because of the immature seeds.

I've grew nirvanas ww and still do......Yes the phenotypes r a bit dodgy(no 2plant's r the same)but when you get one you like(and you will)just keep her for clones.......smell 7/10 looks7/10 stone and strength 7/10 so all in all not a bad strain....

I gave thseeds a shot. Cold creek kush.....worst plants i ever grew. Then i heard the scam the owner pulled at 2010 cup with the name change. He took a local colorado bad ass strain....called it cck and entered it. Won like second or some bullshit. Then a few weeks later.....bam....cold creek kush available and for sale....except it wasnt the same....at all. Just some bullshit duff afghan he whipped up to rob people of thier cash. That adam dunn is a con man. Fuck thseeds. Hes pulled some shady shit on other breeders in the past too.
U sure man.. TH SEEDS is a very reuptable company. I grow their mk-ultra, ultra sour and the sage n sour and they are absolute fire.. Some of the best seeds I have ever grown and actually been wtf is says it is...

Theres alot of shit out there and bs companies.. TH Seeds is legit stuff man. Sorry hear about that. Did u buy from them directly?? Cuz i find that to be weird all around.

Thats why i always tell people to grow from clones and get them from friends or dispensaries that can show you what the finished product looks like and can tell you what they like regarding: nutrients, media and ph etc... I cant tell u how many ppl get seeds from companies and spend 12-16 weeks of growing to find out they are fuckin banana throwing herm buckets of shit. BOL

Jackson County Compassion Club. Few years ago. Thseeds Cold Creek Kush. Original seed box with the little thseeds logo with the "window" packaging. They could of easily been tampered with but i doubt it. These seeds sucked big time. Got i think 4 females. One was shorter than the rest but otherwise the same. Long thinner leaves but dark green on a bushy indica stout plant. The buds were gigantic. But no trichomes and smelled and tasted lile hay. It was horrible. Then i read some backgorund on the Cold Creek Kush and the shady shit behind it in the 2010 Cup. Never again will i grow out thseeds. I too have heard sage and sour and mkultra can be straight up hell fire....iam not willing to risk my time and money to find out. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I ordered some Rare Dankness ghost train haze #1, from Herbie's, this spring. They recommended removing the breeders pack for stealth purposes. I wonder if I got slipped some other inferior strain. 5 out of 6 of them sprouted but It grew out total shit.
Looked nothing like the pictures. 1 pheno looked like a straight sativa, like Colombian at 12 weeks it was mature like my og kush at week 3. The other 4 produced loose sativa buds with little resin and mediocre smoke that I had to cut at week 12.

I agree 100%. Gth#1 throws wild varying phenos. One pack has some aces...next pack will have jokers. Been through the same shit

Loose ass inferior buds in gth#1 depending on the phenos. Real crapshoot. I was wondering the same thing...if some dork switched out seeds in the second and third packs. Actually wonder about that from alot of seed packs i picked up from Jackson Michigan awhile back. Wouldnt be hard for them to do either. Prolly not but makes me.wonder.

Female seeds ww x bb. Hermied badly with two weeks to go. Had to abort. No more female seeds. Had two seperate of theirs hermie.
Sensi seeds NL x haze #5. Long flower period very sub par smoke. Make 4-5oz of very average smoke.
Just remembered the NL had two in. The second one I pulled 6 weeks into flower with no pre flowers. What ever the pheno it was gonna run at least 14 weeks. Pulled it, waste of time and space.

You can find bangers in r dankness gth#1. But it can take multiple packs to find that pheno that has it all. Gth is a tricky one. Ive found awesome females alongside completely different and junk plants in the same pack. Much more than say Sin City seeds gear..With those strains especially.the Blue Power based ones...even the less than stellar phenos are damn good. What you want from a good seed breeder are packs where its hard to choose keepers cuz they all are kick ass. Gth from Dankness is not one of them. Phenos all.over the place.

I ran their moonshine haze and had a similar growing experience, wildy varying phenotypes, I think they don't breed for stability but more breed for potency and taste cause I had one plant out of that pack that tasted amazing and had an endless high.

Its the Haze really. That variety has been giving breeders and growers headaches for decades now. But once you lock in that special haze...its game on. Look at the clone only santa cruz cut of Blue dream...and how breeders try and make seed versions of a haze blue berry cross....most turn out nothing like it. You have to go through alot of seeds usually with haze based strains. And breeders will tell you when working with a Haze...it usually dominates the cross. Haze is a tricky one.
