Teachers don't run the risk of a crushed spine. Or blown out knees. It's called risk & reward.

The greater chance of bodily harm, the higher the pay.

I do however believe intellectuals should be played more tho. But then again professors at ivy league schools do make 100k a year.

I have way less of a problem with athletes making that kind of money than most people who make that kind of money. Athletes actually have to earn it.
