Powdery mildew??? Please help identify!

Yea see the thing is that before the mildew issue came up my plants suffered deficiencies because I had them in FF happy frog and thought it was ok to just give them plain R.O water for a couple weeks, so the deficiency caused damage to leaves and after I added nutes the mold/mildew question came up.

And it seems that the plants with most damaged are the ones to have the potential mildew issue

Garlic, milk, and saturator controls pm, add pepper and it'll do bugs as well.

I think it's 3:1 milk:saturator. You mostly just need enough to have enough saturator to get the milk to spray correctly and stay on the leaves. Add 3-5 garlic cloves per quart(it's honestly not that important as far as how much garlic you use as long as your not crazy or stingy with it) you can add cinnamon or hot peppers in small amounts as well. I'm sure you can google search to find out more accurate ratios as I haven't had any pm in years.

I had white mildew before.

I lift my 6 plants in dark room for 48 hours brfore i flip to 12/12

Forgot to turn Fans and dehumidifier on.

I open the light ai got shocked!!

Toke all the infested leaves and waw it was aloot mate!!!

Then sprayed with diamond shield from plagron.

I made sure ventilation is good and on track again.

After that i saw very small spores and every thing dissappeard withen 48 hours.

Success.

You need to treat your plants ASAP. Source a bottle of Eagle w20. Ph your water to 6.0 then add 2-4ml eagle per gallon. Put this solution in a spray bottle and soak the plants. Keep your lights raised an extra two feet for a day after treatment.You can do this in VEG with little problem as the buds have not grown yet. Do one treatment every seven days as needed up until week 4 of bloom. Wk 4 is pushing it with sprays. Make sure you get a dehumidifier set up or the PM will keep coming back. Humidity for veg should be around 40-45 to combat PM. You will start seeing issues with humidity above 50 in veg or bloom.

What's bullshit? My advice is solid for treatment of PM and only for treatment of PM and other fungal issues. User discretion is advised when using any treatment method. Your response is suggesting concerns for health issues? What do you suggest for treatment if you have pm in week 1-4 of bloom? And what do you use for other fungal issues like rust?

I would recommend personally
1- is to spray the grow area with bleach as mentioned earlier to kill the spores (easy)
2- use a fungicide called Daconil (available on Amazon), spray the shit out of your plants, mildew dead (easy)
3 - never let your humidity reach 70 %. That is critical to prevent powdery mildew.(not that easy)
4 - get fans to really circulate your air, which is extremely important. (easy)
You are lucky you don't have buds yet, otherwise no recovery and a 100% loss.
If you do what I recommend, you should be able to save your plants, but you have to act quickly. Once it attacks bud sites, your fucked, leaves not that bad.

Serious in the sense of experienced. Some do not have the luxury to scrap an entire run over PM issues. Eagle 20 is viable option for treatment of PM.

Wow, I never like to bash others, but please don't use eagle20 in flower. I know many commercial growers would let someone smoke poison to make a buck, but don't do that to yourself. That shit is a systemic poison, that's why it works on a systemic infection (PM). This means the poison is in the plants in significant amounts for long periods, not just on the outside like neem oil or something. The real bitch about PM is the fact that it is systemic and can't be cured externally, you can only treat the symptoms. Just because you don't see spots doesn't mean it's gone. I've used many products, Daconil included, but until I got a dehumidifier the symptoms would always come back. Even with the dehu a sick plant will still have issues if conditions allow.

I've heard of eagle 20, and even though I know it will work, my grow box is in a occupied room and therefore I don't want to spray since eagle can be pretty toxic. But as a last resort I may move my grow box outside to spot treat with the eagle. Hoping I can avoid it though since I was trying to keep it organic. Very good and thorough info thanks Jimdamick! I agree keeping rh low is tricky. Right now its not that bad since its at 55-60.

I have one fan inside box but only passive intake and exhaust. I will be adding inline fan, filter for exhaust and small computer fan (100+ CFM) for intake.

I also have to light seal/proof the box.(caulk the seams and line the door with weather strip)

Once all that is done I'm sure it will help control humidity. Is Daconil anything like Eagle 20? I'm trying to avoid the harsh chems as much as possible.
