If only i could like this comment a hundred times. It's not like making your own soaps or laundry detergent, which will marginally save you money. It's a high margin that is perpetuated by so many growers who think this is some kind of rocket science when it's not. It's a high margin that is perpetuated by so many growers who think these companies have real intellectual property when they don't.
You have 'normal' looking plants. Anyone who has been in this hobby for a while will tell you that a tub of plant food from Walmart is also capable of growing 'normal' looking plants...LOL...Btw I also have pretty plants...Advanced Nutrients forever!!!
Lol simple minds like yours will never achieve the yields I'm reaching for.You have 'normal' looking plants. Anyone who has been in this hobby for a while will tell you that a tub of plant food from Walmart is also capable of growing 'normal' looking plants.
might actually grasp it if you listened to his simple mind LOLLol simple minds like yours will never achieve the yields I'm reaching for.
Your information is false here. How can you possible compare dyna gro to AN? Or how can you compare liquid synthetics to powders? Everyone knows the powders are cheaper because they require more work (i know it's only a minuscule amount of work, but time is money).Yup cannabis specific nutes are overpriced snake oil some swear by it I did a side by side with Jacks Classic and laugh about dudes paying big bucks for AN and Dyna Grow. Many still won't change and swear by them feeding charts. But fuck Miracle Grow!! You enjoy paying Monsanto money?? Jacks is at least close to as cheap 4 pound tubs for like $20 bucks at greenhousemegastore.com and it even works great for legal plants.
Lol really point me in the direction of people who are using no amendments and "Walmart" fertilizers and achieving 1gpw...I'll wait.might actually grasp it if you listened to his simple mind LOL
I don't understand how adding a little powder to water makes a miniscule amount more work but please explain.Your information is false here. How can you possible compare dyna gro to AN? dyna gro is a complete one part nutrient with a higher ec concentration than MOST liquid nutrients on the market. Did you notice how i said it is complete? That means you aren't going to get deficiencies from using it properly which would require more bottles. Plus, dyna gro is not a cannabis specific nute in the first place.
My point is @homebrewer is a well known and respected grower not only at this forum but several others as well and most folks know he uses DynaGro and has posted several side by side DynaGro vs (put your canna specific nute here) grows. His advice is spot on which is why I said what I didLol really point me in the direction of people who are using no amendments and "Walmart" fertilizers and achieving 1gpw...I'll wait.
What did you yield on your last 1200w grow again? Something like 25 ounces? Would you consider that a success because this simple mind over here has come close to that with a single 600.Lol simple minds like yours will never achieve the yields I'm reaching for.
Okay then why is he suggesting buying fertilizer from Walmart, I know that a seasoned grower can keep a plant green and lush with any nutrient, but your not going to get those high yields I'm reaching for using just a "Walmart" fertilizer alone, believe me I know...I'm not stopping at 1gpw, but it's a good benchmark to begin with.My point is @homebrewer is a well known and respected grower not only at this forum but several others as well and most folks know he uses DynaGro and has posted several side by side DynaGro vs (put your canna specific nute here) grows. and why stop at 1 gpw ?
First, I would like to say i know jack's and am in no way bashing it since it is a proven very good nutrient.I don't understand how adding a little powder to water makes a miniscule amount more work but please explain.
I use 6 gallon water cans usually 2 scoops alternate between all purpose and bloom booster depending on different factors and it's a complete nutrient mix a lot just use the 20-20-20 alone and still have great results but that's not the optimal way IMO. Transplanting I use the Bloom Booster as before cloning and mostly through flower and very light on seedlings. I don't find it the slightest bit more difficult than Dyna Grow but please explain how much time I can save because I ain't saving money on Dyna Grow.
Honestly, because a good grower can get those yields with any fertOkay then why is he suggesting buying fertilizer from Walmart, I know that a seasoned grower can keep a plant green and lush with any nutrient, but your not going to get those high yields I'm reaching for using just a "Walmart" fertilizer alone, believe me I know...I'm not stopping at 1gpw, but it's a good benchmark to begin with.
dude, you are posting over in @az2000's grow with bagseed, miracle grow, and household led's.Okay then why is he suggesting buying fertilizer from Walmart, I know that a seasoned grower can keep a plant green and lush with any nutrient, but your not going to get those high yields I'm reaching for using just a "Walmart" fertilizer alone, believe me I know...I'm not stopping at 1gpw, but it's a good benchmark to begin with.
Yea about 27oz off 1200w which was a complete disappointment...I have multiple complications with my last grow temperatures for a whole week in the low 40s {Fahrenheit} amongst other things and that really destroy my yield...But my grow before that when everything went right I pull 20oz off one 600w.What did you yield on your last 1200w grow again? Something like 25 ounces? Would you consider that a success because this simple mind over here has come close to that with a single 600.
Exactly you don't "need" all the extras to grow marijuana, but you do need it to hit those higher yields.dude, you are posting over in @az2000's grow with bagseed and household led's.

Very very nice, I wish I would have ran across something like this when I first started growing, it shows all the neophytes that they don't "need" all the extras to grow marijuana. Great journal keep up the good work!
Which dyna gro is one part? I use their micro from the 3 part but didn't realize they had a one part complete nutrient.Your information is false here. How can you possible compare dyna gro to AN? EDIT: whoops, homebrewer already said this.
No you don't. I'm hitting around 1.7gpw with gen hydros 3 part. No additives, phing, etc. i wouldn't expect to do it with miracle grow though.Exactly you don't "need" all the extras to grow marijuana, but you do need it to hit those higher yields.
