I have a 3x3x5 tent, I underestimated the stretch and the sativa has outgrown the tent. I ended up disassembling the tent to let them finish.

I wish I would have gotten a taller tent for flowering.

Or you could of pinched your tops over and let the plant carry on, or better yet chuck a net over them to maximise your floor space

Scrog only works with two plants in my space. I had three.

I wanted big colas verses a bunch of small ones... so I left it alone.

I'd just add a few more lights, or one efficient cfl. Makes a world's difference. And be sure to angle it accordingly, you want cover various angles, mimic sunlight.

Sorry, They are photoperiod. Not sure what strains though, seeds have been mixed up
Hey OP. Yes, they should be larger, BUT it's okay that they are not. In fact, generally speaking, the longer the veg, the better the flower-phase and the better the yield. (Basically.) Anyways, the good news is that the haven't really stretched too much. I agree that lighting is the issue, Im sure that your running CFL, is there anyway to move it closer to the plants? I keep CF's literally about 1.5 inches away from the canopy of the crop.

Growing from seed takes its time dude that's why I like cloning plants it's much faster than to start over from seed, you'll be going the best part of 4 months from seed but you can get a stronger plant (sometimes?)
That's debateable! :) Genetics are just as good with plants "born" from cuttings as plants from seed! Doncha think?

A few days difference, theyre beginning to make progress, can anyone help on terms of feminnity because not sure if male or female seeds
Howdy!

Some hints!

With CFL and Flourescents you'll be wanting to keep the light close as possible, within 2-3 inches if you can get it there. This will help stop your plant stretchin.

Next, re-pot that sucker and bury it up to it's first set of leaves, this helps keep your plant a little shorter for it's space and it will grow more roots from the stem you bury. Or next time start your plant in a solo cup and slowly move it up to larger and larger containers AFTER you see roots poking out the bottom of your container.

As for whether or not this is male or female we can't tell from your pictures. The easiest way to identify gender is to switch to a flowering light schedule and see if it produces pistils. If you keep it in veg it will also show it's sex after three to four weeks if you're lucky while it's still in veg. Google cannabis pre-flowers to get some ideas of what you're looking for.

Two growers running the same genetics.

Farmer A grows from seed.

Farmer B grows from clone.

Under the same conditions Farmer B will have more frequent and heavier yielding harvests. The reason for this is growing from clone knocks a few weeks off the growing process as well as the fact that clones can be vegetated to become huge as well. There is just such a huge advantage to cloning you're literally just saying no to better and faster yields by not doing it.

I do the same with my hot pepper plants and my tomatoes when I plant them. Bury them to the 1st leaves and it makes my plants healthier and have stronger stalks. Its true the plant does root up to where its buried. Good point here cyrus.

If I put the plant under flowering light schedule, could I return to veg must I begin flowering because they are no where near able to produce what I want in flowering

If it were me i would wait until i have more growth before i put it into flower. Let the plant get as healthy as possible before you flower. It will show its sex in time.
