I prefer a forming tap over a cutting tap for these small bolts.
What's the difference?I prefer a forming tap over a cutting tap for these small bolts.
Chip holder and reflector connector, I don't know about lenses cause I didn't use them... just reflectors...Is this what you need for chip lol holders for 3590s and also the same for the 100mm lens metal holders?

SSDD is a winner. Not a big yielder but a keeper nonetheless. The one I have is berry butter. I've always found multiple keepers when growing out a pack...still have 3 packs tucked awayDo you have any picks of the Sunshine Daydream? I just picked a pack up, any tips on her? II prefer forming SCREWS then!A forming tap moves the material to form the threads and a cutting tap removes material to form threads, they work well in soft metals.
i know this old but how many 3x3 cob set ups do i need to make use of the drivers? i want to build room using 36 cxb3590 at 70-75w each want to cover a 8x8 area 64 sqft@Limosnero hey dude, check out this thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/pictures-of-your-diy-lights-post-your-pics.871625/page-9
page 9 post #171 @werm11 has the best square spacing using 8 cxbs that I have seen. You may want to consider phase one of your build to be 8 cxb instead of 9 for much better driver utilization assuming hlg185h-c1400
id love to help you, but I dont know where to dig around to find about what drivers ur talking about. email me growmau5@gmail.com be specific about your needs and ill help you .i know this old but how many 3x3 cob set ups do i need to make use of the drivers? i want to build room using 36 cxb3590 at 70-75w each want to cover a 8x8 area 64 sqft
basically i am building a room with 2 4x8 trays making it an 8x8. sqft will be 64 sqft, usually 4 1000 watt hps would take that spot. i want to use cob leds and want to push around 600-650 watters per 4x4 area but will connect the 4x4 area in a square so 8x8 area. i want to make 4 3x3 cxb3590 cob set up each 3x3 will cover 4x4 of space. i know since that driverid love to help you, but I dont know where to dig around to find about what drivers ur talking about. email me growmau5@gmail.com be specific about your needs and ill help you .
I see, each 4x4 will have 9 cobs in a 3x3. That's 450watts of LED per light at 1400ma. So one hlg185 will run 4 of those and and hlg240 will run 5 cobs at 1400ma. The combo of the 2 drivers will give you your 9 cob grid, but it ain't no 650w.basically i am building a room with 2 4x8 trays making it an 8x8. sqft will be 64 sqft, usually 4 1000 watt hps would take that spot. i want to use cob leds and want to push around 600-650 watters per 4x4 area but will connect the 4x4 area in a square so 8x8 area. i want to make 4 3x3 cxb3590 cob set up each 3x3 will cover 4x4 of space. i know since that driver
hlg185h-c1400 you stated only can support 8 cobs. or is it supporting 4 cobs? if i use that driver how many would i need for 4 3x3 cob set ups, essentially 36 total cobs. also is this many cobs good for the space?
