Ever noticed how most auto sellers only sell fems? Ever notice how all of the most respected breeders don't even make fems and won't even bat an eye at autoflowers?
I just don't understand why anyone would want to grow a finnicky lower potency plant which you cannot clone and keep around..... that takes the same amount of time to finish as a photo. Can't transplant, can't top, can't clone can't do shit with em.
I also don't understand why any breeder would want to put work into making a ruderalis hybrid better and more potent when there are already super potent photos to work with? Start with better breeding stock end up with better progeny.... it's simple. Working with Autos is taking 10 steps backwards just in hopes of moving 1 step forward. Doesn't make sense to me. Oh wait that's because I'm not a cashgrabber!
Its true. The market control thing. Any semi educated riuer knows it. Im sure that there is a place to buy non feminized auto on the market though. They sell everything anyone could possibly want if you dig hard enough.
But as far as cash grabbing and market control dont sell the reg bean breeders short. Theyre just as money hungry. Lets be honest here. 98% of guys out there arent breeding their reg beans. Theyre killin the males and having to buy 10 packs for between 60-250 bucks. To get one cloneable plant. Then the next new thing hits and ya gotta stay up with the trends, cookies this, gorrila that, bohdi, dynasty today, something new next month.
I mean really the ruderallis crossing to make it auto flower and put on weight fast is the point of the breeding, so saying you cant clone them isnt really a point for the anti auto side, its more of a redundant fact thats in the name itself.
And as far as not being able to do anything with them, you can transplant them. I did on the one i had. It was fine. 150 grams of fire. You probably shouldnt top em but im sure you can if you really had to. You can train em, bend em, break em, i broke a branch on mine when i had that girl posing on it on my thread. That branch finished fine. I mean the only real thing you cant do with them is clone, and shouldnt do, is top, because auto flowers are in a race against the clock from when they germ. Which i think is pretty cool. Did you check out any of elvises threads? Nice looking plants.
