yes the tops have a layer of pebbles it serves a dual perpose
1 it slows down the evoperation from the pots this is just a theory tho but seemes to be true
2 i sprey the pebbles with neem oil and that stops knatts laying there larvae in the soil
plus i think it looks better

Nice Thc247! In the time you have used them how many times have you had a valve block or a tube connector?
I used em for a while, possibly a year but I had some real build up in the tubing, although I have hard water and I never up scaled the tubes that came with, which is I hear recommended. Anyway just wondering since you've be using them 6 years.

that was my firt thing i done when i got my setup i noticed the pots connected to a 6mm cross connector and i changed this so each pot connects direct to the big pipe i have not had any blockages but i have 2 inline filters that i clean every week and they do get blocked up with shit if i dont clean them but i havnt had any valves block as i service them half way through and check they all ok and clean well after each harvest .
i havnt used for 6 years mate it was sum one else that used them 6 years

Ah sorry for the misunderstanding on the 6 years, it was tyke and you both had nice green profile pics! Yeah I wish I had added those inline filters at the time and upped the cross connectors and so forth. I may dig them out and give them another whirl yet though. Overall they just made things nice and easy. I went back to handballing the Coco instead.

ok so another quick update they are drinking 100l in 3 days the tank is empty it really feels like an awfull lot but Rh in the tent is 40 % so i really dont think its getting evapourated.I always make sure to let the plants dry out inbetween tank fills so i really cant see it effecting anything but it really does make me think when i was hand feeding i would normally feed them at this stage 3 L every 3 days so that used to be 48 L Every 3 Days Now they are Drinking 100 L and on day 3 the Tank and trays are bone dry.
No Signs of over watering and all plants are growing Faster and More Vigorous Than i have ever seen Double the intake with no signs of Over fert / Over watering so im hoping to see double the results ...
That would be nice but i was only joking there i will be more than happy if i finnish on par with hand watering i dont need to see better results i would be happy getting the same weight as its so so much less work but if i was to get less weight than hand watering i would have to work out the loss compared to the less work and see if it would be worth while.
I wouldnt mind losing a bit of weight as it really is like doing nothing compared to before but who knows i could be suprised and see more weight but i cant see the air domes living up to the auto pots advertising scam by saying the air dome will increase yields by 130 % lmao.

couple pics almost into 2nd week 12/12 patches are already popping through the net i have got the 2nd net quite close at moment to the first but aint planning on alot of stretch its all about keeping the canopy level . A

been on bud xl 1/2 strength for 4 days now almost completed the stretch now entering 4th week in 3 days will go up to full strength bud xl week 4 and up the ec a little currently 1.2 ec with 3ml terra floors a litre and 1/2 ml bud xl a litre going through 200 litres a week easily

here is the back row same cuts but grew alot slower !!!
would really like to know why either the back 2 pots are not recieving as much feed or there in a dark spot with the filter being so big it puts the back lights off balance a touch but im thinking its the pots not getting the same amount of feed
