What she did was wrong, but do we really need to lock her in a cage for it?

Job loss and a civil suit would be of kept her ass in check for the next go around, and any others who would try the same.

I'm with you on that one.

She should have just resigned if she couldn't fulfill her obligations under the law. I have zero sympathy in that regard.

I would in fact charge her to the fullest extent and threaten to activate the sentence after seeking the conviction if she continued to obstruct.

But once she is out of the way and not holding that office there is no need to punish her by locking her up at taxpayer expense.

Maybe you should read all the way to the end. She did time for defying a court order and earned contempt charges for some of her shenanigans in the office. Her defense says its all good now that the Republican legislators covered her ass by passing laws to allow her to continue to harrass, I mean manage, the people in her office. She's still up for contempt of court charges and fines. Those charges aren't being dropped because they have nothing to do with the new law.

So, as was said before,

She was never jailed since..OP makes it sound like she was jailed AGAIN (current) when in reality just a sad attempt to sell advertising space.
