Evil,

You in the midwest?

Also, I'm doing hydro but doing Ebb and flo. Much easier to take out and move around imo. Also don't have to worry about water temps so much and oxygen with air pumps (even though I run them to keep the water moving)
Negative on the midwest.

Ebb and flo I considered but for my own reasons upon my research I have a very specific way they hydro is being setup and a buddy has already proven it works on a larger scale. I prefer the nutrient solution to fully circulate for various reasons.

That's my plan two in the big tent and one each in the two 3x3's. Then to move plants you just swap lids around when needed.

Using a chiller?
No need to. The first test I have done was regular DWC not circulating in my closet tent which is my warmest grow area. And despite the water temps of 75 with the H202 everything is working just fine so far:

The recirculating system should run cooler because the temps will be cooler where they will be setup and because the total volume of water together. I have tried hydro before and it didn't work for me but now with some help and that my room environment is better dialed in it's working. So I can wait to fire up the circulating setup soon.

The water temps is the killer for me. Just stopped at my hydro shop and he defo recommended a chiller. 1/10th hp chiller does 50gallons.

Try before you buy bro. I was told I would definitely need a chiller too as well as R/O water and the best my plants have looked is dropping the calmag and using my tap water and my roots are doing fine in the test run with the buckets with no chiller and water temps at 75 degrees. To each their own :)

Every grow is different and you can't just go off of blanket recommendations across the board.

I'm converting to hydro and very excited to get one of these beans grown in hydro from beginning to end to see what happens. My current setup is coco/perlite at 3 to 1 ratio in 3 gal fabric pots. I see a big future for autos especially commercially if more people like mephisto can continue showing the possibilities with them.

I also wonder if the 6500K bulbs in the T5 kept her shorter than she usually would have gotten........I am debating putting her in the flower tent during the day and back to the veg tent when the flower tent goes lights out.....? Would that hassle be worth it?

Do a web search for thread Hail Hydro

Are you using h2o2? I read that there is less oxygen at higher temps and the addition kills bacteria as well as add oxygen.

I have no clue but I want one. Looks good to me mobo.

I'm going to pick up a kiy at my hydro shop. DIY is cool and all but the made buckets seem to be much better. I have enough hubbabubba's to lst me a year so using a seed as a trial is fine by me. I'd love to learn more about this. Gotta get on it soon

Yeah the tent temps went up a little after moving the two big GG girls to flower. Let's see how much she fattens up. If I can pull 4 zips from this one I'd be happy.

You definitely should pull that big stem over to even the plant out. If you pulled it down away from the light you could lower the light about 6 inches and your lower leaves would love you.

I'm just concerned she will crack being so far along if I tried to bend her over...........

I took some leaves off today to see if that helps.

Yes it's better when they are young but doing it slowly works. Little per day. I still pull mine away even in full flower. They grow so uneven
