Woot woot!! Count me excited :D I'll get the new grow thread up today, can't wait to watch these babies bloom!

:bigjoint:

Thanks! Sounds like you've got a biggie coming up, watcha growing?
I got four cuts of my Elev8 Seeds gorilla glue going, and two clones from a friend. A green love potion and caramelicious. First time growing from clones and in the transition to an all hydro setup. My two small flower areas are running the last of my plants in coco and fabric pots.

i guess i should also state the conditions

4x5g buckets (lowes brand) with industrial 1/4'' landscape irrigation tubing running from a 112cfm commercial air pump (1/2'' output to a 12 site manifold with 1/4'' outlets) powering 4 10.5'' commercial airstones (these things weigh 5lbs each).

air pump is mounted at an ac register, keeping air-in chilled, and pump cold, eliminating need of a water chiller.

74f lights on
70f lights off
water temp 65f
tds before nutes 198, 568 after starter nutes
ph 5.8
starter nutes:
GH3
5ml pg micro
5ml pg gro
5ml bloom
5ml pg botanicare cal/mag
1ml pg superthrive

will run this for a week, until shock subsides, and growth shoots out pale yellow. res change in 7-10 days, depending on new growth. the new res will be:

10ml pg micro
15ml pg grow
5ml pg bloom
5ml pg botanicare cal/mag
1ml pg superthrive

i was going to use some great white shark on them, but decided not to. keeping it simple, esp since the problem with mites.

full confession, the plants look like a dying dog's shit right now... but however, that will change in the next couple of days. i look forward to sharing the recovery of these (yes, i admit and take responsibility) horribly neglected girls...

Thats the nature of hydro unfortunately, it's not as forgiving as soil....I'm sure your fine.

Go threw my thread I went away for vacation when I was sexing the GG run still and almost lost the entire run. Because of course we get record highs and an update to the Nest A/C controller that disabled my use on my cell phone lol......perfect storm........I save the damn grow and end up with three fems of 12 beans but only one keeper the other fems didn't make it. And just recently getting over a thrip invasion I was dealing with too. Been crazy lol. I am hoping the switch to hydro makes it cleaner but now you're saying you had mites so same shit bug wise?

peaches has been a garden gnome this year, lots of dirt and plants going in and out. that combined with dogs, and we got hitchhikers.

i didn't know they were there until a couple weeks ago, and of course, it got worse before i could make it better.

it's also the time of year for outdoor things to try and make their way inside. fucking stink bugs are ALREADY making a break for it...

hydro (imo and e) is cleaner and easier, with a higher yield and better finished product. i like it that way, so that's what we are doing :)

Yeah I stopped letting the dog in the room which kills me because she's always with me but not risking it anymore.
