do T5's count. they're kinda compact and they're florescent? and i never know if i should post in the cfl side or the indoor side....

According to our Social Group we're 25 strong now and I think Dr has sent some invites that haven't been accepted yet... so I'd say a safe estimate is in and around 30

Nunya... we'll have to think about that one... nah I'm kidding.. if you use Floros your good with us !!

well since we have so many cfl minds in one place, let me ask a question that I posted in journal (wolfman gave a good answer) but I want to see what the rest of the crew thinks..........How often do you change your bulbs?

Oh yeah I see some of us get cool titles, I want one, since micro gorwing is my area i would like to be the official RCC Micro Manager....any objections?

I never change my bulbs.. I want them to always stay the same. Never change. I like them the way they are.

Icurbyou.. man.. I know you think the "logo" is ugly or whatever ya don't like the colour.. I can appreciate that.. but if you notice.. we all have the same thing... for a reason.. I'm trying to keep this together and the same and offical and such... If we're to represent Rollitups CFL community as our name suggests I'd like to have things uniform... I know I've asked you nicely before and I'm doing so again now.. Its not much I ask really...If you don't like the colours you don't have to put the tag in your signature at all.. I'm not a "fighter" when I'm high, lol.. but I do have founder by my name and it wasn't for fun.. feel me ? Thanks brutha.. at the very least I feel you know what respect is and where its deserved and where it isn't... I'll leave it at that.

Shit, I completely forgot to answer your question D... I'm thinking that I'd probably take the time to change bulbs every 2 grows.. Depending on the light cycle that'd be with 18/6.. if you go 24/0 I'd try to calculate the approimate time your bulbs are on for the entire veg period. Either way, despite how long they are rated for thats for home use.. what we do with these bad boys isn't tested at GE's labs lol.. so its a good idea to change them more often than not... Thats my 2 cents atleast !!

Honestly, I feel like we are 11 yrs old and the rich kid is trying to tell everyone how to play the game.

If you want to kick me out your group because I dont want to change the color in my sig thats fine... But people may see that and find it to be silly.

Are we a fucking marching band? There is no need to match. We are all members of Rollitup.org and we all use CFLs and take pride in it.... So why the fuck do I have to have Verdana text with RED initials?

I want to rep the pride and be in the group but I also want to be an individual. Can't I do those both?

No need for things to get ugly.

Why not customize your NORML logo ?? Make it black and purple with polka dots ?

I'm not trying to be a "rich kid telling you how to play a game".. I'm trying to start something that might be a bit bigger than you've presently been told.. Thats my bad though.. I was waiting for someone to ask to be a individual amungst the group..Its bound to happen.. happens in every walk of life.. Just look at your average high school... I can go on and on.. but I won't because as you said there is NO reason for this to get ugly...I said what I had to say and you made your point as well.. If you feel the need to be different, thats fine.. Do as you please..Your still more than welcome.. Above and beyond what I'm trying to organize its about growing good bud with CFL's and thats about it.. I'm going to walk away from this one having said just about all I need to.. Its not about anything more than respect...Some people might find it silly, but for the most part.. I think almost everyone understands the simple concept of respect

Actually, I did customize the NORML logo.

NORML WASHINGTON doesn't even have a logo!

I built it in Illustrator... So... thanks for the idea! You're a few months late though :)

icurbyou, I agree with both you and FT. I hate conformity, that shit is for the unthinking majority. However, dropping f'bombs just because you want to have a different design is kind of counter-productive.

I have a better idea. Why don't you channel that anger into another outlet? Maybe use Illustrator (which I have virtually no experience with) and create us all some nice scalable logos, etc.?

No hate, just a suggestion.

Brothers lets not let this turn into a thread that the hid'rs and such make fun off..icurbyou, I respect your right to be an indivudual, however, we working as part of a team or a collective, there is a need for uniformity, although Michael Jordan was the greates Chicago Bull ever his uniform was the same as the rest of the team, your signature shoud not be the reflection of your personallity, your grow should brother, the signature represents the collective, ala a uniform, and just because we have the same uniform doesnt mean we wont stand out as individuals........just some friendly advise brother............

I just thought the logo was cool. I didn't feel any pressure to conform. I asked to conform which is unusual for me.

I like the way Diggity made them.

Man.. Its not even that I don't agree with him.. lol.. I don't like to conform myself.. Hell if any of us really did we wouldn't be doing what we're doing growing (those of us without license)..

I'll completely go along with that idea whoever.. icurbyou, man.. if you wanna come up with something for us to use.. I'd be more than happy with that.. Do some stuff up and if you want post them in this thread and ppl can use whatever they want.. If its really this big of an issue like if there are others who don't like it.. I'm not a freakin dictator lol.. we can get rid of the whole R.C.C thing and just use our Signatures...This was supposed to be a fun idea of a like minded group of individuals.. I'm sure some of you have been over to other msg boards such as icmag... and I'm sure you've seen they have some great groups like the one I was trying to create here.. even the same sig and tag ideas.. Anyway, thats just where my head was.. but like I said I'm a reasonable man.. It wasn't really a problem before...So I didn't think it needed to be addressed.

I don't know what else to say in this situation anymore...
