Putting plants in darkness to remove chlorophyll?

Does putting plants in darkness during final days of flower increase chlorophyll deterioration?

If you're smart enough to notice when your plants don't like something, you'll never build up enough salt to have a problem. Keep it simple, don't overfertilize. That is the root of the issue.
No., The root of the issue it's actually feeding without ANY RUNOFF and in the watering schedule watering also WITHOUT ANY RUNOFF., You can push the limits of your strain to find the sweet spot without getting salt build ups or lockout of nutrients., U WILL GET NUTRIENT BURN but no salt build ups or lockout. Now what u are talking about??

I will ask u if u use high concentration of synthetic nutrients and feed with out runoff where do u think the salt excess is gonna go? The answer is NOWHERE., IT WILL STAY IN YOUR SOIL CREATING SALT BUILT UPS AND EVENTUALLY LOCKOUT OF NUTRIENTS., now if u grow organic NO WORRYING ABOUT SALT BUILT UPS
Funny. I never get salts build up in my soilless with hydro nutes. Maybe because I feed what my plants tell me they need and not what it says on the side of the bottle or at their website.

A lot of, probably most, toxic salts build up is people using really hard, crappy tap water without having a clue what that does to their plants. Anything over 100ppm will eventually build up and screw up pH, lock out nutes and make your fan leaves start going all brown and crispy 4 or 5 weeks into flower if not before. Many folks are using water that's over 400ppm and wonder why they can't grow shit. Flush often to get that stuff out or do what I do and use good RO water.

Contact your water supplier and ask for a free water analysis report. Can usually get it by email and if they are nosy and ask why you want it just tell them you want to brew beer or get some fish. None of their f'n business anyhow but be polite until you get the report. :)

So many problems, especially for Noobs, can be avoided with good water as it's the root of your plant's health. Yours too for that matter.

Finally someone in my same page., Also u probably don't get salt build ups because u use soilless and with soilless since u feed daily U HAVE TO FEED WITH RUNOFF MANDATORY.

Different page. I rarely have any runoff and feed every 2nd watering. Just ProMix in pots and not some top feed, run to waste system. I know how much water they need so dump it in and walk away. If there is any left in the pan an hour later I stick the wet vac in there and get rid of it. Go from sprout to chop like that no problem.

Other than that DWC ScroG has been my main way to grow. Gonna be doing more soilless in pots from now on tho or setting up some sort of hydro system to work in an 8x4 tent. The tubs can grow in the old grow room just for my fave strains.

But seriously, where are the grows? (pics) Here, I'll start:

Finest gardens I've seen thus far: Pinworm, that guy that looks like my uncle, and (I think) the guy with the Al Bundy avatar. I've seen a few nice indoor setups/tents, as well. (Gary, that other guy, etc.)

Ok, sorry definitely different page., I thought u where using Coco coir., ok., Promix it's considered soilless but unlike coco u don't have to feed every day. GN sir

It's getting to the end of my season and I want to remove chlorophyll from my plant to improve taste.

A close friend with more experience than I told me to cover the plants to make my plant's leaves yellow. Would this be the case?

I'm not asking if it will boost resin production. Just asking if I can increase deterioration of chlorophyll in the final days of flower by using this method?

Thanks!
flushing is the key sunshine i have left plants in grow rooms were the lights gave way when i was away and had them in darkness for about 18 days after harvest really it did fuck all maybe a few extra tichs but thats it

First pic is from third plant from my second grow. She was a bagseed that took forever to flower and I harvested way too early. Just stupidity on my part, no other excuse. But damn I was into the size and can only imagine what kind of nugs she could of made had I known better.

The second is from the same plant, just a smaller branch that I cut up into nuggets to dry in a box to see how that did vs hanging a whole branch. The whole plant by itself yielded close to two O's on it's own and it was a really poorly taken care of plant.

Well there you have it, my amateur mid-like weed. Only difference between this and street weed was the seeds sadly, still got me high but not sky high like it should.
