good post mane!! This topic gets discussed often, but it is one that all growers need to stay on top of. I myself have been a victim of the paranoia. Now I look back and laugh. I have had guest over my home on many occasions and no one ask shit about the locked door in the family room. It is basically invisible to them.

damn goos shit well put paranoria is the part that hita everybody i been growin since i was 15 man i feel ya n yea i used to live in the hood man blunts outside *ON THE PORCH ON THE PORCH SMOKIN REEFA* but things got to bad and my moms finally got the money to move up outta bullshit know wat im sayin and i be over here in the sub-divisions wit all the bright folks and i still be on the porch wit a blunt in hand funny tho cuz they all keep lookin at meI've been hearing alot of this shit about FLIR etc.
Personally I think it's a crock of BULLSHIT unless you got a big grow op going down.
Common sense seems to not be a strong suit or paranoia clouds the judgment or a grower nowadays.
Here's some great tips to growing even a nice scaled op and having no worries Real Talk.
Some you might know and some you might not.
Post what you think is a great tip to staying lowkey.
1. Do not tell anyone about your grow.
this right here can fuck you up like crazy. You get all hype and want to tell the whole world. Tell one person they'll tell another and if you get to harvest time you'll be tore off(locked up).
2.Grow by yourself friends can fuck you over.
Personally if you cant trust that friend with ya life and haven't been coll since elem fuck that out of the grow equation.
Money can really break up the relationship straight up.
3. Light leaks
this is another major one...
People not blocking the light all the way and lil cracks of light come out and neighbor might say something.
Best thing is cardboard and ductape on the windows along with a good curtain or blanket in the room you grow if its open.
4. Paranoia
This shit right here is major. You cannot let this shit get to you real talk.
It'll eat at you, if you scared to order seeds expect what is like when you see a cop car in front of your house going next door etc.
Fuck paranoia, If I was 14 growing and haven't had a problem you can also work on just sayin fuck it.
You did the best you can not to look suspicious grow is going smooth.
5.FLIR
Yea yea yea pple say they can see through ya walls.
I dont think so I think they just see heat and if you vent properly it wont show up so much.
FLIR is for major grow ops they aint got time to look into a 4plant grow with a 400watter.
Thats wasted tax dollars they want the big shit
6.Girlfriends
Can be a bitch if they know u grow and some shit happens between you.
She can snitch or she could be bragging to her friends if she's like that.
7.Slinging
If you sling your harvests like many do dont do it where you grow/stay at.
Sell smart so many people get tore off on this because they brag that its some homegrown yadayada. FAST FORWARD: word gets around and you could get in some heat.
If you not slingin to clinics you gotta be careful who you serve.
8.Smell
This is a major problem too.
You gotta control shit like this, whether you can do it with a CF or ozium spray and plugins you gotta control that shit.
yea its nice to walk in ya crib and smell it but do you want friends, neighbors etc to smell it?
9. Dont act suspicious
at all pple coming into ya crib and out in 2mins makes it look like a trap.
Say hello to ya neighbors when you get the mail go to the block parties BBQ's etc.
Make it look like you are normal.
10.Trash
Dont just throw ya dead leaves and empty bottles in ya can...
I cant stress that enough,
My method is I tear up all boxes real good, crush and flush foliage or just in a black bag then inside reg trash...
But I still take my bad trash out on trash day almost like 10mins before the trashman comes.
I'm not letting none get a peek at my trash at all even if they wanted too.
Now follow those along with some others that people may post and you good.
No prob will arrive hopefully.

Good insulation and proper venting will drastically reduce heat signatures, same shit sold on auction site for FLIR reduction is available at home depot in 4x50ft rolls. No one said anything about wallsFLIR doesn't look through walls...
I've used FLIR plenty and was trained how to beat FLIR successfully in Serbia and Iraq so yes I do know WTF i'm talking about. Semper Fi

Great thread Mane. +rep to you. All good tips. GF knows about one plant, and beans but not about plans for new grow room. Will get her naked with my camera real soon. hehe
Still figuring out where to do grow room with new beans. Garage (solid brick), ensuite, built in robe, cupboard or garden shed.
Also gotta consider I have a cleaner in weekly for 3 hours and definitely don't want her to know (esp if I have to let her go one day). Thinking of ensuite but locking it saying its under rennovation (its old compared to my newer bathroom so reason seems legit).

hell yea i was always kinda shook that i came home and police were there because they found out about it somehow..
Shit had me on edge but i didnt show it just kept it in my head and smoked the blunt forgot about it.
yea no stranger to blunts on the porch pple smoke everywhere here police don't really care, i mean we still hid the blunt if we see them rolling thru.
i started growing in the suburbs tho cause my moms moved to MI right before high school.
i got funny looks when i opened up the garage door ans sat there with my blunt in my mouth they'd ride by slow like "wat?"

Most of em on here don't know how to pack a Black n mild so u can burn up in tha club, or what wraps damn near kill all the odor, bout wrapping up them bricks n birds in bearing grease to get em down tha road, street smarts is acquired in the streets, not from a sheltered life. Everyone always looks directly at me smoking a joint and asks, "do you smell weed."
