South African indoor experiment

Howsit guys, here are some update pics of the indoor grow and the outdoor (greenhouse box).

Strains:
Indoor - Unknown African Indica/Sativa and one unknown African Indica (smells very strong, like bubblegum and lavender)

Outdoor - Shunk#1 (cutting received from a friend) and one unknown Sativa.

The skunk had a bit of nutrient burn but she is coming along nicely.

This week is the 5th week of flowering for the indoor experiment.

I believe the site suffered a DDoS attack last week which is why they were offline for a while.
Could be an after effect of the attack...
Hey Q9550, thanks for the reply bud, I see why it would cause for pics not to show. I will probably have to re-upload it.

Thanks

Not sure if re-uploading will work, there is a banner towards the top of the page that reads "We are currently experiencing issues with viewing and uploading images, our team is working on the issue."
I assume only once they have corrected the issue will upload and viewing of pics function correctly again.

P.S Cool thread, i'm from SA as well...

Thanks bud, I only saw the banner now lol. I guess I will have to wait until it's sorted. Which city in S.A are you from?

I'm from jhb bru.
Quick question maybe you can help.
Just started a hempy grow and got some nutriplex nutes.
What would you suggest a good mix be in terms of ml/L for seedlings

Hey Q9550, Im very new to growing so I cant really advise as per request on nute strength during seedling stage.
In my little experience, I would only feed seedlings water until about 2-3 weeks veg. After that I would do a 1.5ml per liter of seagrow or nitrosol (nutes high in Nitrogen). These are the nutes that helped me in my growing situation as nutes vary depending on grower preference and many will advise use of other nutes or none in this stage. I hope this helps.

Thanks potency,

Im running coco hempy and as coco is technically a soiless medium theres nothing for the plants to feed on in terms of nutes.
I ran both seagrow and nitrosol in my previous grow but wasnt too happy with the results.
I decided to feed the seedlings 2.5ml/5L of nutes. Its a very mild mix and im hoping it will not cause nute burn.

Do you have an EC or PPM pen? If you do use the same ratios and try and get your levels to about 1.6-1.8EC or 800-900ppm at week 2/3 of veg and onwards. Just remember you're going to need to add some cal mag to your water before you add the nutrients(about 0.5mg per liter)as coco can lock out nutrients without the cal mag

What nutes are you currently using for your plants? I had no problems using seagrow and nitrosol. I used smaller doses and they came out plush and green. For my next run I'm getting bio biz grow and bloom.
Do you have any pics of your nutes and plants?

I like your outdoor screen box. That South African sunshine is plenty strong!

I imagine your access to better lighting is limited, but I would recommend you upgrade from those CFL lamps as soon as you can manage.

Thanks bud, I still have a pure sativa in the outside greenhouse box along with some other girls.
Regarding stronger or better lighting, I plan to use those big CFLs of 84watt each as the HPS system draws too much power.
Would it be better to go with LED in terms of energy saving?
