So, from what I understand, CA does not have stores yet, like Colorado. I'm finally going there next week and was wondering about being able to buy Meds in town. I'm a patient from another state and there seems to be some discrepancy in the dispensary laws. Does anyone know of a dispensary that takes out of state cards? I'm only there for a couple days, so I don't want to get a CA license.

I'm staying in Union Sqaure and will be visiting the Summer Of Love exhibit in Golden Gate Park and the Haight for sure. I'm an older Deadhead and have always wanted to visit the source, LOL. Any hippie tourist suggestions? :)

Can't help you other than say there are a bunch of dispensaries in the Bay Area. Berkeley Patients Group is a very good one. As to honoring out of state cards, can't help you; cannabis is still illegal federally and even legal stuff like CCW isn't always honored between states

Although prop 64 passed in November, legalizing recreational use, rec sales don't begin until Jan 1, 2018. CA does-not have reciprocity with other medical mmj states.

Your best bet is a delivery service, ask a cab driver or at a bar.

Go to the power exchange, On Lewis I think. You can also hit up the tea room if you feel like getting your dick sucked by middle-aged white men.

santa cruz for sure though.
Cool town, it was a lot cooler 20 yrs ago, but that's how everything feels to me
