LED's already have a coating on them , i don't think you should put a second coating of something on them. Unless you are trying to further change the spectrum...

It still changes the spectrum of the light passing thru the coating, i never argued it wouldnt work.

15w Sylvania cob spot lights w/ optics from Lowes.
Sure, each one has a chunker under it.

Was working on moving some power points today, had the power to the carbon filter off and holy shit! Did not realize till (after an hour) I opened my grow room that it hit 47c (116f). The heat was worse than what I felt after I first went to Malaysia.
My heatsinks were like 70-80c (~167f), my walls all had condensation probably from the plants. I touched them and my hands were soaked.
Luckily, all LEDs are fine and I'm thinking I'm going to install some thermal protection to cut off power to all the lights if this happens from a fan failure.

You vent out the whole time you're on 12?
Haven't really seen your grow but have seen lil clips. Just from them, I'd be considering AC & Co2 if I were you, if you're not already.

A generic 90w UFO i got off Ebay for under 150. and 130w of CFL. I would like to add a UVB bulb.

Amazon has great deals on some really nice LED full Spectrum lights. I just got 2 300W ViparSpectra lights for 180.

I have used them for my grow now about a week and my seedling all have 4 leaves already. Im doing 18/6 cycles for the next few weeks. I also have 3 clones doing VERY well
