People used to argue with me when I said our country was turning towards fascism.

Since the in 2016, nobody argues the point with me anymore. No one.

This is one of those times I really don't like being right or prescient or intelligent enough to see what's happening or what comes next.

The world could survive Hitler in 1932. Today we have enough nuclear weapons in the world to destroy ourselves several times over.

And so what's Herr Chumpster Fuhrer doing? Picking fights with other nuclear armed nations!

He's whipping up xenophobia and nationalistic fervor. He's expanding an already historically gigantic and powerful military while ramping up military actions worldwide.

The parallels with Nazi Germany in the late 1930s are many and chilling.

They want things as they were when life was good i.e. Childhood. In a way they're right because from 1935 to 1980, it was all about infrastructure, GI bill etc the government put money into our country. Since Reagan, that has ceased. They cling to the dream yet refusing to invest in the dream: its people have become enemy of the Deep State always wanting and needing 'things' like good wages, to feed, cloth, house and have medical care.

Today is a great day for me personally, I get to go and pick up medicine in a few minutes..no more Sunday drives or shopping..quality of life is now judged by affordability of basic human needs.
