FYI, last grow I read a grow thread that is about replacing air stones with flooming. Now, I can't have open rezes due to pesky mosquitoes that get into my house and make a beeline for water to lay eggs.
It's really simple: Size your lp pump to your rez volume. Since mine are < 3 gal I have to use a deep cycle timer, otherwise the water temp rises > 90*s. It took me a couple days to discover that, which caused major leaf damage last grow. Later I saw YT videos about diy venturi, which adds a small diameter tube where the top of the tube is above the water line. It super oxygenates the water by bringing additional air into the water as it flows out of the pump. I added the venturi to this grow and it works great. The picture shows a T connector, but all that is needed is an elbow. The smaller tube is cut at a ~ 45* angle and pushed to the bottom of the larger tube. The angle cut is turned away from the flow, so water can channel around it and create the bubbles. Lots of YT videos
