That's why people should go ahead with their grows once they send in the paperwork. There's already been a case which sided with the patient in this exact scenario. Once the doctor signs off and your forms are in their system it's good to go imo. Delays due to HC's incompetence or not enough resources is not an excuse, nor the patient's fault.
been yellin that now what? goin on three years.. hell even before the paper work goes in...

Well you know my version of this, fuck permits, JT, HC and whoever else thinks they can control my source of medicine. But for those who want or need legit licenses I don't see any reason to wait for a stamp of approval from an incompetent agency who never should have been involved in this licensing process at all.

My ailment is not life threatening and I am already signed up with an LP so I will just wait to avoid any hassles..
The LP stuff isn't terrible as far as I can tell but it is terribly expensive. Hard to justify ordering it even though it kind of satisfies my addiction to ordering garbage online

Ordering from LP's is the same thing as giving the gov control over your meds...you need to BOYCOTT any LP purchases. My advise is buy once and refill anywhere else. Around here you will find very little love for LP's. They are the enemy of cannabis freedom and choice. If you buy from them you are contributing to the problem of greedy government domination of cannabis. look forward to where that leads please.

That is basically what I've done and been doing.
I think it may be inevitable that "medical" grows have a limited future though, what other medecine that's doctor prescribed do you produce yourself?
It seems probable with more clinical research and the full legalization of marijuana that flowers and smoking will be seen as recreational and the medication and medicinal applications will evolve to resemble more what "normal" medication looks like and the prescription process involved with everything else. The upside to this is that cannabinoids will get DINs and people will get covered by insurance without question/court hearings.

LP's charge from 350 to 450 a gram for oil made from floor sweepings.

I understand and believe most of the arguments for growing your own.
Between black market and LP it's hard to make the argument that black market is going to be inherently safer/healthier. Again, I made 2-3 purchases from them so I could get the medical document from my doc for growing (wasn't even an option until I heavily pushed for it and had already been with an LP for some time).
Although I said my ailments are not life threatening it doesn't mean I don't need quality greens to survive... and maintain a standard of living many people take for granted...
Just saying I think the days of growing your own medecine likely has an expiry date, but I will do what I can to try and prevent it, including getting licensed and being vocal to the appropriate people.
While I wait for my registration to make its way through bureaucratic processes designed to be prohibitively slow I will continue to be forced to choose whether I want to mismanage my finances or my health. Yay

Source? I am totally cool to get on board with this interpretation of the "registration" process but I don't want to be the first guy burdened with trying to set that precedent in court. Especially with my current total lack of resources it's definitely not in the best interest of the mmj community for me to be the one to take up that fight...

There was already a thread in this section pointing to the source, too lazy to look for it. The guy had registered but papers hadn't arrived, someone probably ratted him out and they busted him, by the time they went to court papers had arrived and judge threw it out.

Totally agree with you. I am growing now since my wife has a 3g/day script to use and carry cannabis. However I am still waiting, for my grow to complete. I could never understand why my wife ever ordered from Tweed after the first few orders were disappointing. I have always been able to find something that is good quality for a decent price. Funny thing is my usual haunts are seeing increased demand of late without a corresponding increase in supply.
Since I cannot supply her (temporarily) she got her doc to renew her script with all the THC limits removed, and she ordered some Bedrocan from Tweed. Sad day here I can tell you, thankfully I have 3 kinds of good hash so, I do not have to smoke that LP stuff. More than ever I cannot wait for my crop to be ready. At least I planned ahead and round 2 is ready for the flower closet as soon as round 1 is finished.

question im waiting on my paper work first time applying. and was wondering do they do a search of the property or anything. i was going to order seeds online and put a few in the ground and wanted to know if i will have an inspection of my grow site i plan on putting one or two in the greenhouse if its safe i see a lot of grow now and just wanted to know if the police or HC will have someone show up

I try to contribute as little as possible to this racket that is the cannabis seed industry, the license producers, or any of that crap.
