Ok...... update....... still leaving them outside......rained a bit & started again. been feeding every 3 days with the directed amount of food. not checking pH as its raining a lot anyway......but the average is around 8. Did the eggshell boiled water, cooled to room temp & added feed. look like its worked. the brown bits wont repair. I trimmed a couple off.
So this is the progress.

Any thoughts on whats occuring?

the plant on the left is revegging, it started to flower, then when the days got longer than 14 or so hours, it stopped flowering and went back to vegetative growth. it will grow weird leaves for a while then start growing normal ones again.
thats also possibly whats happening to the one on the right, but it looks like it was much farther into flower. ou may want to put it out for 12 hours a day then take it in and put iit in the dark for 12 hours, give it an artificial night. if you're going to, i'd do it quick, before it slips farther back into veg.
the soil you have them in looks pretty heavy, next time you pot a plant add a good bit of perlite, or at least coarse sand.

I'd give those pots a light sprinkle of Epsom salts.

They've been outside since 24 April. The days are getting slightly shorter & minimally cooler.
Epsom salts isn't common either......no surprise there really.
I have some 'BLOOM' plant food which I may try on the low fat boy.

Once the initial experiment is over.......my new room should be sorted...still toying with what to go for strain wise....,maybe DP/fem... will veg under cfl's & put outside once they're ready. 75% vermicompost - 20% peat - 5% perlite. will also add some coconut husks at the bottom & clay balls throughout. Will start to feed late & only if needed. going to use 20-20-20
FK-1 Liquid Fertilizer...... 25% full strength & see how it goes.
I'm hoping that the vermicompost does the trick on its own, so then it's organic & easier...pmsl.

Any strains you would recommend chaps?

Received 10 x DP(f) beans & other delights....30 in total (MSNL) They still owe me 20 freebies, which they forgot, even tho I explained in in e-mail & used a special code....... must be stoners eh....Hoping to get them within a week................... Looking at maybe starting 3 or 4 DP.
Perlite is due tomorrow........excited over fkn perlite? yes I am.

Ordered 9 & 3 gallon breatheable 'pots'..... anyone use them?

Well.......................my perlite has not arrived!

But 20 x freebies apparently did..... just got to pop to the postman's gaff to pick em up in a bit when he's home from work...lmfao. he took it home yesterday & forgot........ welcome to my life...... love it. Hoping he's got 4 boxes of perlite knocking around his gaff too.........

3 walls are now up for my room......only one more........ still not got cooling.......altho temps at night have now dropped below 30c. If I can't afford cooling (besides exhaust & normal fans) will have the lights on night time.......to try & keep temps down.

Still struggling to get Epsom Salts. Will gypsum suffice, used for 'shrooms?

E27 'Y' connectors also arrived........... gonna go super bright............cfls.........need more.

exciting times ahead.......if everything turns up............................... ferts will be as natural as possible. but if they need chemicals....they will get them......(as near as possible to 'recommended' levels....)

gypsum is calcium, epsom salts is magnesium and sulfur, totally different uses, not interchangeable

of course....apols.....mixing shite up. also ready & excited to start.....but the room's not.............
the elusive 2kg of perlite will be arriving tomorrow.............apparently............
epsom salts are obviously proving to be another pain in the ass........
sourced a 9000btu portable aircon with 15m hose..............$200usd........ but with temps today over 33c ....... it's needed for good results..........the rooms only gonna be 2.5m x 3m at first...... so should easily manage................

found a cheaper aircon....6000btu will do........ $135usd.......... 'er indoors a tiny bit happier.......... pmfsl.

perlite has arrived! thank funk.......... still struggling with magnesium sulphate (MgSO4).....but have a good feeling i'll sort it... got a pal over in june......BOOM! we will conquer......... still got to travel 900km round trip to get it..... have a night out too..... rude not to........

any experiences with led spotlights?
would 4 x 50 watt .... 2 in 2700k & 2 in 6500k work? or more wattage which becomes a lot more expensive?

starting to worry about my lighting now too.............ffs!

room is 2.6 x 2.8m & now thinking six babies..........also.....gonna leave DP for now due to long flowering time....

the mrs couldn't believe how happy i was once she saw what perlite was....she also laughs at me due to not believeing that i can grow my own budz from seed........need to prove her 1000% wrong.

well, what i've learned about pot size is bigger is better, you're lucky to get 2 ounces out of 3 gallon pots, you can get a qp out of a 5 gallon pot if you're good, you can get 6 to 7 oz off a 10 gallon pot, i'm trying 20 gallon totes now, looks like i may be breaking the 8 oz per plant mark soon

while you're getting all this ready, start looking for
1. a cheap ph meter, and a small bottle of test solution
2. an EC or PPM pen, again a cheap one will do if you get a bottle of test solution to keep it in trim
don't know about ordering things where you are, if you can get it, Jack's citrus blend fertilizer is THE shit to use.
i find it odd that epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) are hard to find anywhere in the world, they sell it in drugstores, supermarkets, and garden centers here, besides being good for your garden, its good to soak your feet in, and its a good laxative

pmsl....true. looks like 1kg will cost me $14usd............ if they reply & can deliver......which will be a bit extra........
bin thinking too much......n the mrs has been chiming me with her sudden input....... two to start.....hahahaha.....
so decided (could change.....again) to do 2 auto fem & then 2 more & then 2 more........ staggering.......
think autos will be easier n also with 5 gallon pots may reach somewhere close to their full potential.......in their predetermined lifespan...................not replanting will help too........
doesn't look like i can get ferts from abroad..............soils good tho.....& if there's one thing the village people round here know.....it's how to grow stuff..........
it's got: black peat soil, black burnt rice husks, cow shit, bird shit, coconut husk.......will add perlite, vermicompost, clay expandable balls...........will add organic compost if / when needed..........
also been checking out youtube experiments with 50 watt led spotlights.......... look fkn great...........
if funds can cover it.......i will buy 4 x 50 watt........2 of each 2700s & 6500s....(one per plant).........$25usd a piece.......even cheaper on juice & minor heat with fkn bright light.........altho.....when i say cheaper/cooler......that doesn't count if you're adding them on to your other lights......
not purchesed the air con.............yet.............delivery 3-5 days............apparently..........the room is quite cool at the mo with 3 walls complete.............because its bin pissing down a lot..........in fact it's been pretty spot on heat wise..........trouble is....when the clouds ferkoff it's 35 again........
the roof of the room is half covered by another roof over the top n trees around the back also shade the room well............
i may.......by some miracle........or by the fatherinlaws wisdomly design.........not need to shell out on aircon.............?????

NOTE: i can only communicate with my gf n the kids (limited).....there are no doods who look like me for miles around....... local kids see me n usually point n start fkn screamin...........even dogs are a bit suspect of me at first..........
my dogs only understand english........so speak more to them than anyone...............pmsl.

all walls up.......just need door on n a few holes filling in to prevent any light entering..............oh n paint......
temp has stayed below 30c.........so i'm buying a 9" fan to blow air in from outside n looking at 2 x 100w led floodlights..............
trip out tomorrow with her indoors......can deffo get: chicken shit - quality volcanic rock - rock phosphate - lights n fan.......... hoping to also get: organic kelp meal - neem seed extract - unsure weather to bother with blood/bone meal?

also testing the soil mix out on a couple of bag beans i found that germinated...........

the 100w are advertised at putting out 11000 lumens each......with a 3000/6500 spectrum........
saw a geeza testing cheap 50 w led floodlights out on the net n he had great success.....................
