The title says it; police killings accounted for almost 1 in 3 of all homicides in my 'peaceful' county in Colorado.

My county is NOT poor, it is NOT economically disadvantaged, it is NOT below average in education or income.

WHAT THE FUCK?! Why are cops now the most murderous gangsters on our streets?

I don't know about other places in the country; do a quick search and post your results here.

can't find anything current, but in the 10 years between 2004 and 2014 there were 71 police involved deaths in Massachusetts. Only 1 was in my county.

My county is large and ranges from upper middle class to lower class. It contains the second largest city in new england. We have a very vibrant immigrant community. Crime isn't zero, but nobody much complains about it.

It would also seem police aren't hell bent on killing people. So I guess it is possible.

I got to say my small town has not seen a single death by cops in like 18 years at the least. Maybe you should move to NH Colorado is a shit hole.

Half our rapes are in Alaska which is basically America's Russia. :)

More crime in America for sure we have criminals from all over the world most notably the Italian and Russian mafia's of course MS-13 takes the spot light since they are a brutal street gang while the Italians and Russians are very organized with big money and plenty of muscle MS-13 is a joke.

All those types of ''gangs'' amount to smoke screen. In the older wars the winning country wrote the history, the founding governments of every country follow the same principle by defining the meaning of gang to separate from it, but they are all gangs on a academic or physical level. Academic (banks eg) do the most damage, just hard to put a death toll on it.

The common folk like us only have democracy. Proverbially, democracy is a wooden sword and cardboard shield in the hands of a 5 year old. Go get em Spartacus.

I think that if We the People demand accountability from their government, including its law enforcement organs, we will get it. We must speak with one voice, insistently, consistently and be unwilling to tolerate resistance from officialdom.

Most Americans have no experience of such campaigns out the exercise of their rights and voice in our democracy and it's this habit of passivity that has allowed governmental abuses to become commonplace.
