Men's rights activists say the same about any capable woman.

Have you noticed how harsh the same Bernie Bros are about Kamala Harris? Is this a trend or what?
you have to ask where she was and who she endorsed..who was it?

i have a feeling those who support sanders are not going to let this thing be stolen again.

we'd like for the media to think long and hard about what it is they do/did to throw an election..after all if you're so sure your candidate is the best- cheating is NOT required..suppressing information is NOT required..but then i guess i just responded to my own statement.

I've done a bit of reading on the upcoming 2020 election's potential candidates. And yes, Kamala Harris didn't play the Bernie bro tune as AG. She didn't prosecute Mnuchin. She met with corporate banking leaders at one of the elite getaways on the east coast. Her settlement with mortgage companies brought financial relief above and beyond what most states got but nobody went to jail. She also had a great record of successful prosecutions in CA that made a difference for a lot of people who had been taken

I'm not settled on her or anybody. Just saying your kind isn't perfect either. Neither is Sanders. Nobody can win the nomination without gaining the African American and Hispanic vote. Sanders isn't reaching out for those delegation's support. For good reason, they won't vote for anybody who expects their vote to be given to him. It didn't happen in 2016 and won't in 2020.

$25-billion foreclosure settlement was a victory for Kamala Harris in California, but it wasn't perfect

ftw..peoples' lives were ruined by wall street..not just a year or two and we'll get back..our homes, our 401k's? our retirement; all that we worked for..sunk a large down in a home you no longer have borrowed from 401k. they should ALL be doing time in leavenworth.

30% of the electorate votes in Trump (61 million out of 200 million), but votes don't matter? If 50% of the electorate didn't stay home and passed 9th grade, Trump wouldn't be president.
and which groups stayed home?..REJECTED HILLARY CLINTON?..and which groups did the same in 2008?

the huuuuuuuuuuge opportunity to prove once and for all whether Hillary was indeed anointed..

if Hillary were $100 bills..you couldn't have given her away..nearing dem primary Sanders garnered tens of thousands of supporters coming to see him, while Hillary was hotel lobby/school gymnasium.

one thing is for certain as sure as 2020 will be upon us..try, just try to shove her down our throats again and see what happens.

check this, men..here bernie is a mean sexist who stole all her ideas..how mean he was to her during debates..he's dogged her all her life..she'd be president if it weren't for Bernie..it's a sickness..she is mentally ill like trump, just in a different way..the fact she can't let this go is insane and the fact that she's re-writing history..?

Your kind? well Sandernistas of course. You mind is closed or so it seems to me about any other people.

Totally agree that the banking system is corrupt and the bankers who foisted the fake ratings scheme that led to Credit Default Swap security frauds should have been prosecuted and sent to jail. Trump SHOULD be in jail too.

Off topic but an allegory to this idea of justice at all cost. Saddam Hussein should have been hanged or at least killed for his crimes. The Iraq invasion that made this possible ended up killing a million people and destabillizing the region to this day. But, the world is better off with Hussein dead. I would suggest that the world isn't better off once the cost is factored in.

Kamala Harris explained her reasons why she didn't pursue criminal charges against Mnuchin. She wasn't confident that she would win. And so, as frequently happens in the justice system, she settled for punitive damages without pressing charges, long court proceedings, AG resources tied up all with the possibility of losing.. She went on to say that this left her department with resources that allowed her to do more. You weren't there, she was and it was her decision to make. That's why we put people in charge and hold them accountable. The scorched earth, take prisoners at any cost, no compromises approach that you and your kind persistently advocate isn't necessarily the best one when one considers the cost.

I haven't mentioned that her record as Senator is pretty good too.

This whole discussion started when I pointed out that Bernie bros are treating Kamala Harris like Clinton and there seems to be a pattern. I'm not saying this to defend Harris, I'm just seeing connections between "men's rights" and the misogyny that appears to be present among your kind.

Trump isn't a Democrat. African Americans and Hispanic Americans are an insignificant fraction of the GOP.

Did I really have to tell you this?

2. harris is too green
3. what is mnuchin doing these days other than throwing little old ladies out for a balance owed of less than $1.00US?
4. harris is too green and already being penned as shrill..didn't you see how she how she was being treated during confirmation hearings? spoken down to?.cut off? by OTHER senators and the person being confirmed made her look like a big fucking bully..likened to aggressive female activism negatively? you think she has a shot? i know how leadership views behaviour from a female and it's far from pretty:lol:

ya think?

Chuck and Nancy have other thoughts about the matter.

trump wants deals and it's deals the dems will give..he's NOT loyal to anyone in case you haven't noticed.

it's the freedom caucus and other hard righties that trump can't get anything done..but chuck and nancy are old school..especially chuck..and being a new yorker? they speak each others language.

trump will go for the path of least resistance..he had a taste and voila!

trump may turn out to be one of our better presidents..he needed to figure who would work with him.

the obstinate rightie no longer means anything when you have a narcissistic president who will work across party lines, now that he knows how.

he actually might even get a second term if this keeps up.

Harris is shrill? Shrill? Are you saying that people who point out the double standard used to to try to suppress Harris from skewering witnesses during Congressional hearings are being soft on her? I'm saying the double standard applied to women in politics is misogyny. Same happened to that nasty woman Clinton. I find behavior like that offensive and wrong. Don't you? Doesn't everybody deserve to be judged by what they do and not according to archaic social norms that have nothing to do with performance on the job?

Uck. Money in politics. Why don't we just pass an amendment to repeal Citizen's United? Meanwhile, has she done anything illegal or indefensible? Republicans hate her. She has 25 year's experience as a prosecutor and seems to be enjoying the role of senator, without being restrained by all the conflicting complexities of dealing with judicial processes. Now, she is free to dice and slice people like Flynn and Sessions without worrying about judicial processes. Doing a good job too.

Mnuchin. Yes, Mnuchin is still free and doing the dirty work for the 1%. A real Sandernista would have, I suppose ground all other activities in the AG's department to a halt in the hope of winning a just verdict in one case. If they lost, the Sandernista would be comforted by their eternal self justified rage. You don't accept Kamala Harris's explanation. OK. She settled, brought in $25 B in reparations, which left her department resources to to much more than jail one person, maybe. In your opinion she did wrong. That's your opinion.

Harris has passed far more progressive legislation than Sanders has in his whole career.

It's on the State level but it's called "taking care of business".

Green?

Let's cut the bullshit, it's her melanin levels and "black like" name that bothers you.

Uhhh, pulling you back to the discussion that we had started, you asked why Trump managed to win the nomination for the GOP without winning the African American and Hispanic American vote. I pointed out that the Republican party has a very small number of people from those delegations. The Democratic Party consists of 40% non-white voters. It is nearly impossible to win the Democratic Party nomination without polling well in the African American and Hispanic DP delegations. This was proven once more by Bernie Sanders who gained small support from these voters in 2016. He's has not been reaching out to them, post election. I don't see how he can win the nomination without doing better in those groups in 2020. He's a smart man and has his reasons, I guess.

Do you actually think Trump is a Democrat now? More like he saw a chance to send a message to his party that some issues are not to be trifled with, such as funding for emergency disaster relief for Texas. If it had been for the State of California, I don't think the deal gets done. He's still the same old partisan asshole.

LOL

White as a lilly.

I think that the white liberal Sandernistas are too accepting of structural racism for my liking. Bernie's ignoring Black Lives Matter for instance. Or his stated belief that after 8 years of Obama, "people are tired of political correct rhetoric". Your buddies seem to think that better wages will make death by cop more acceptable for black people. The 1% use sexism and racial issues to divide the common people and so we aren't going to throw their yoke until everybody has freedom to move safely about and pursue their lives free of the white man's disease of racism. ditto the male disease of sexism.
