thanks, im anxious too, haha...heres some pics of my grow room...its about 3' wide x 3' long x 5-6' high. i have 4 27 watt cfls on the lower half and 5 42 watt/ 6 27 watt up top...

Look at that BEAUTIFUL LADY!!

Dont take this offensivly but next time i would try to completely surround your plant with lights instead of having a bunch just on top... that way more of your plant receives light and remember "The more light=The more BUD!"

I don't take it offensively, i like constructive critisism, but if you look at the floor there are lights there, i have a lamp with a Y socket in it and then 2 lights with reflectors, four 27 watts.

One quick question.. my plant is 25 days old 4 days in flowering.. do you think i can switch it back to vegg 18/6 w/o any problems?

Yes alot of people do it after they confirm a female so they can take clones and then flower it again.

I can't smoke anythign cause of some BS justice system shit, im in a "substance" abuse program, so im just sitting here looking at these beautiful buds hoping my day will come soon enough. But i'm gonna get sooooo f-ing high.

HAHA that sounds fun, i might take a dump on it though. The judge actually didn't make me do it yet, my sentencing isn't untill dec. my lawyer told me to do it so it would look good, which although i didn't want to at all, is working out in my favor, i got my liscense back and some of the charges changed, but it all still sucks.

So i've got some bad news that may turn out to be good news, sorry if that sounds weird its 630 in the am and im tired...Anyway i was checking my girls around 3 this morning and i saw that on one of them those f-ing spider mites were back. I didn't want to keep fighting them off so i decided it was harvest time for the lovely lady... All went well, took about two hours cause i had to take so many leaves off that had beautiful trichs on em. Anyways i'm putting some pictures up of the harvest it was around 150 grams wet, so i think it'll be 25% of that if i remember correctly...?


Heres the bad part...if those spider mites are in the bud, it doesnt seem they really are, what will happen and when will i notice it happening? will they still go after the bud even though its cut off? I sprayed it a little bit to try to kill/nock them off. Hope it works, wish me luck everyone.

On a less serious note i still saved all the leaves i cut off to make some hash, they are def where most of the mites were, should i just chuck em, or let them dry and still use them? I put them in a brown bag and shook it around a bunch to try and kill them..

Let me start by saying those are some killer buds. Here's some advice - take it for what it's worth:

1. Just prior to harvesting, I like to turn the lights off for 2-3 days and leave the plants in the box in total darkness. You'd be amazed at how many more crystals are on the plant after this.

2. For drying, I cut the main stalk and hang it upside down (in darkness) for 7-10 days. I usually do this in the box itself, since you have good air circulation (or should anyway). I think it's much easier to dry this way and I believe if forces more THC into the buds. You can clean the buds up after drying.

3. For the mites, I would look for bugs in your buds. I had a crop that had spider mites and they were thorough out the buds - there was nothing to do but make hash. If there's only one or two mites, you could just remove them by hand and be fine. If you happen to smoke a mite, it won't kill you - just may taste a bit rank.

Once again, excellent grow - especially for a first time.

Thanks you guys, appreciate the compliments...sin thanks fo rthe advice but the only thing is , well i have two plants left and one im gonna harvest in a few days and the other won't be done for probably liek two weeks. So it would be hard to turn the lights off for the one im about to harvest at least, and i also obviously can't dry them in my grow box either for the same reason...btu im definately gonna do that on my last girl..thanks again for the advice

Hey everyone, so i harvested all my ladies, everything went well...about half are still hanging up to dry so i'll show some pics when i get a chance...i do have a small spider mite problem but its manageable.

One question. Will locking them in an airtight jar cut off their oxygen and kill them or is there enough for them to survive for a while? thanks.

So here's the pictures of my whole harvest...around 70 days flowering under 5 42 watt 3000k and 10 26 watt 3000k.

Im trying to post the pics so they make sense, i don't know how to just put them in the thread.

The first 4 are from one plant, i have the before and after. The one with the rainbow BIC is from before they were dried and the first one with the red and yellow BIC and the jar is after.

The next four are from another plant. The Second pictures with the red and yellow lighter are different then the first, their a bit leafier (maybe just how i trimmed them. Now the other two pics are from the rest of the plant which i let go a little longer to see what would happen, their drying in the box with the brown string...everything in their is from the same plant except that last row with the huge cola, that row is from some of a plant outside.

The last four are from the 3rd plant, their all still drying but soon to be done, their in the box with fishing string, im holding up the main cola, this is by far the least dense out of the 3 the other 2 are real dense, but except for that its all good.

Sorry about the awkwardness/confusion of this post, i mean comment to picture wise, i didnt know how else to do it... take a look and let me know what you think, any comments/ questions welcome...thanks.. BTW I got my second grow going already !!!
