Everywhere I look ppl have horrible reviews saying it was shipped broken and worst, I've check amazon ebay my local hydro shop has one but its 130 bucks which is crazy! I want the 1000w eye hortilux hps bulb
I take great care of my ladies, but is it really that little of a difference bc if so I can just keep the same dam bulb I Been using for over a year!Get the cheapest bulb your hydro shop has
The difference in quality and yeild won't be much of at all
It's more how you take care of the plant
Allways run multiple lights but the reason I get 2 pounds a light is not from light overlapQuestion. Those pulling 2 elbows a light I'm guessing your using more than one light and taking advantage of the over lap?
Or is that 2 elbows and using one light only? if so strain and method and veg period.?
I can pull a elbow pretty comfortable with a 600 (single) in a scrog but if I can double that id upgrade to a 1k.
I get canopy etc, that's why I run a srog. So you have no light overlap?Allways run multiple lights but the reason I get 2 pounds a light is not from light overlap
It's from having a full canopy cutting off all lower growth that I use to make clones anyways
I do have light overlap
But I don't think it helps a whole lot
Reason why I say that is because first time I used my 1000w hps I got over 2 pounds with it
I don't mean to come across as a prick but that's over lap.That time I only had 1 1000w
There was 1 600w 3 feet away
In another area but I don't think it helped much at all
For your 4x4 if you can keep temps around 80-85 maxI don't mean to come across as a prick but that's over lap.
Why I was asking is because i have a set space (4 x 4) with One 600. I can get a pound from it. If I had the space for two 600s then id get two pounds plus say and extra 1/2 pound from overlap. so 2/12 pounds pretty comfortably. so a pound and a 1/4 per light maybe a pound and a 1/2..
But I dont have the space. if I could swap out one 600w and replace it with one 1000 w (no mover, no co2 and no ac) and double my yield I would. Hence my Q.
