Hard to do and remain free like that, best way is to reduce fear and uncertainty in society, keep up the education and natural human progress. Health care and a social support network would go a long way to reducing fear in America, so would reducing the number of guns. Race or ethnic hatred leads to one logical end, a place like like a death camp, we live on one shrinking globe, best to figure out how to get along, we are more alike than different. If yer a racist yer a sucker and someone like Trump will soon serve you malice, yer either a fool or were raised wrong, that much needs to be made clear.

We live in an increasingly connected global society, like it or not, technology and human nature made it this way and will continue to drive change. In 30 years it is estimated that 80% of the population will be unemployable because of technologies like robots and AI. The right vs left paragm will become increasingly irrelevant in the near future, it will be the .1% vs the rest of us. Most of the future unemployed will be young, energetic and educated, do you think they are gonna live in cardboard boxes and eat grass, or live decent, meaningful, happy lives, golfing and fishing etc. Technology makes us all richer and will put most of us out of work, it will be a question of distributing the wealth.

Guess I'm just one of them thar pinko Canadian commies! Seriously, the writing is on the wall on this one and writ in very large letters, already every manufactured product on the planet can be made in China with capacity to spare...

if dems win the house and the senate, then impeach, convict and remove from office, some trump supporters say they will declare war. the perfect time for the national guard to create work for funeral homes.

Like I said, they will organise the million moron march, you'd have to be extra special stupid to die for the Donald. They would need to commision special grave markers, " Here lies an idiot!..." Hopefully Trump will destroy the republican party and right wing in the US for a generation, so some good might come out of this mess. Look at how well California has done since they got rid of republicans, they went from ungovernable to leading the nation economically. Many in the US have been programmed and propagandised into extreme right wing economic views over the years and this will need to be addressed. A single payer health care system, a proper social support network, decent education system that doesn't beggar students, etc, is not too much of an ask for the richest country in the world.

If they are divided and scattered they will be defeated, dividing and losing is Trump's specialty, with him as their standard bearer, how can they win? The man couldn't lead a pack of dogs, I half expect USMC Gen John Kelly to empty his .45 Colt or perhaps 9 mm Glock into him anyday. Semper fidelis to the US constitution, but I figure he will be impeached, tried, convicted and sentenced to rot in jail.

We don't feel too smug up here in Canada, google the late "Rob Ford" former mayor of Toronto to see the prototype Trump, more tragic than evil and not quite as stupid. Like Trump he had his 30 some percent and could do no wrong, so did Hitler come to think of it. So you see, anybody can shit their pants in public, even uncle Sam. Wonder if someone started a pool for the day Donald leaves office, call it, D day! There's an original thought, as Donald would say.

We have American TV up here in the great white north, so ya could say we have a ring side seat to the circus. We also have a bit of distance from events which gives us some perspective. Most Canadians only live an hour from the border, so we know the facts on the ground too, sharing a language, history, family and having a common culture helps in understanding too.

Like the Aussies who reported Trump and the Brits like Christopher Steele who created the Trump dossier and reported his concerns to the FBI, Canadians are your friends too. I figure our part in the downfall of Trump might be bigger than many people think.

We look at it like this, as far as the war on pot and Jeff Sessions goes:

Donald and Jeff might just make pot legal quicker and America a better place in spite of themselves and those who support them. Gullible does not begin to describe it, a list of Trump donors would be grifter's gold, con men would drool over it. Donald will sell their asses to the highest bidder and fetch a fortune for his list of fools. Maybe there is a God...

In the meantime he shames America daily and diminishes the USA in the eyes of the world. He endangers Americans serving abroad. The world is moving forward, America is falling behind, the rest of the planet won't wait for America, you don't have the luxury of electing a Trump without doing permanent damage to your country and standing in the world. These things have consequences and the effects will be felt.

Friday the US government closes down cause of lack of funds, wonder if the secret service will walk off the job. I figure Trump might fuck this up too.

So the republicans wanna ride this tiger to election day? Trump is getting even harder for the republicans to carry with each passing day, their failure to protect and defend the US constitution is shocking and disgusting.
