After the midterm elections there won't be anybody to protect Nunes, he'll be an ex congressman who will have to answer a lot of questions. This WH will be laid bare in public testimony, whatever they cooked up with Nunes will be known, perhaps some of it will be illegal.

I read that back in the 70's the NSA used to incinerate analog magnetic tape by the trainload, not carload. Echelon satellites record every whisper of communications in russia, it's just that everybody has been paying attention to the arabic end of things. Everything has been recorded from russia, the NSA is still going through it with a microscope. They weren't looking for russians, just terrorists, the last few years of the russian "archive" is gonna be replayed with a big human audience and a few freshly reprogrammed computers too, maybe even a few old cold warriors brought in from retirement on contract. I figure they found out a lot already, the analysts will have tons of data to work with.

The past is gone and it ain't coming back, though I do favor a renewal of the cold war and the harshest treatment of russia possible short of war. International trade has been essential for prosperity for hundreds of years, why do you think they try to cut it off during war? Lack of trade brought Germany to it's knees in the first world war, that's why the Royal Navy blockaded them and why the Americans went after Jap shipping in the second world war.
International trade agreements and treaties have been a fact of life for a long time for a reason, only morons tear them up. Putin loves the harm Trump's trade policies have done to America, he probably ordered Trump to do it. We live in a postmodern world, in 30 years 80% of the population will be unemployable, right/left is starting to lose it's meaning. Most job losses are the result of technology, not trade and that is going to accelerate.

If Bernie runs in 2020 the corporate democrats will pull out all the stops to derail it. All that money is now gonna slop over the democrats and corrupt them, money follows power. Ya need to get rid of the money and get other alternative political parties in all 50 states, two parties are only one party better than a one party state. Too close for comfort, in a polarised country small parties that hold the balance of power wield enormous influence, it can happen in america too.
