@toolarry hope your doing well in the stom and your babies too!
100 gallon fabric pots are a great way to go. I bet you could get a pound from a 55 gallon fabric pot.I'm with Bacala on this. Your yield is going to come from your thumb at that small pot size. I think you seriously need to think about a bigger pot size, your yield will increase for sure. In any case your medium, your nutes, and water frequency will also be large factors. Tell us what your using and your game plan on nutes
Thanks. Lots of rain, but not much damage, other than corn and tomatoes laying down. I transplanted another tray of MJ plants a couple of days ago. Didn't have to worry about watering them.@toolarry hope your doing well in the stom and your babies too!
It was in a 3 gallon pot outside. I have a 4 x 4 tent that I grow in and these are just to see what happens. This year they are 7 and 10 gallon pots and happy frog soil.Buddy, I don't think you are going about this the right way if you are just looking to increase your yield. You mentioned 3oz from eight colas so I think your effort would be better spent improving your grow overall. How large are the pots? What soil? Which nutes? How much sun exposure? Could be genetics, too.
I don't need a huge harvest so I grow in 10 gallon fabric with quality soil and MaxSea nutes, top twice for four mains and average more than 8oz per. Tell us what you've been doing and maybe we can help you fill those containers nice and full this fall.
I would definitely put them in the bigger pots, you will yield more for sure. Cut that happy frog with 1 bag of ocean forest, good stuff. I would go ahead and get them in they're final pot for the season now to avoid the hassle of transplanting big plants and cut down on shock, that's just my opinion. I like indoors a lot better but the sun is free. Tough call. And I learn with every planter pot grow on the deck. I get terrible sunlight on my deck because of trees but this year they are doing pretty good in veg.
I have a pair of 30 gallon pots I might pot up to. I need 4 more bags of happy frog!
I typically only do lst and average well over a pound a plant. Your yield is mainly going to come down to pot size. I wouldn't go below 45 gallons for outdoor, but that's just me. Seems pointless to do outdoor for small plants.
You guys need a girlfriend who grows; talks girlfriend sounds like my fiancé lol he grows but he doesn't like that I spend all my time with thebplants mostly lolDuuuude I think we have the same girlfriend.

That's how we guerilla grow em in central Maine , the sad truth is that people don't want to do the work themselves and they expect something for free so they steal your hard work and your Blood Sweat and Tears and it's sad but when you walk 30-90 min. Into the woods usually you find relatively safe spots to plant because rippers don't want to travel that far they just want something that's going to be an easy quick grabI FIM and hst and lst, I need them short as possible so I don't get ripped again
I do just fine , I do my homework on my locations and I only use locations with Rich native soil because not only am I in remission from cancer and don't have the energy I used to & throughout all my injuries over the years I ain't luggin tons of dirt I'd rather bring in some blocks of Coco and some water storing crystals and some amendments and my plants do just fantastic locallyI don't see the point. It's just more work when you can just plant more and do less visits.
I personally Grow about 10 huge plants (Moms put outside) & 100 or so clones & 100 or so seed plants I bred myself out every year all throughout the year so I have early season mid-season and late-season plants of all sizes so I do pretty good. ...I don't see the point. It's just more work when you can just plant more and do less visits.
I have done that Happy Frog/FFOF mix in the past and it worked very well.I would definitely put them in the bigger pots, you will yield more for sure.
